Which is better, IIIT Pune for CSE or PEC for civil engineering?
It completely depends upon your interests. You should make up your mind about whether you connect with programming or Civil engineering. Choose the branch through which you can work for the field you want to work in.
My cousin has been a student of PEC University Chandigarh, civil engineering branch. According to his experience, apart from a few faculty members, the majority of the teachers don't care much whether the students understand the concepts involved in the curriculum or not. The placements for PEC University are also below average for the department of Civil Engineering. Around 3-4 reputed core companies visit the campus of the University for recruitment purposes.

- The alumni base of HBTU is very good and there are students who have graduated from the university.
- In terms of placements, a lot of the branches of HBTU Kanpur boast 100% placement.
- Many MNCs that are highly reputed visit the campus every year for the purpose of hiring students.
- On the other hand, IIIT Pune is a newly established institute and so far only the batch of 2020 has graduated from the institute.
- The mentor institute of IIIT Pune is the College of Engineering Pune.

Which is better for CSE among IIIT Pune, IIITDM Jabalpur, IIITM Gwalior and IIIT Chennai?
All the following colleges IIIT Pune, IIITDM Jabalpur, IIITM Gwalior, and IIIT Chennai are excellent and leading colleges for pursuing an engineering degree. All of them have excellent course structures and placement figures. All the other details are mentioned below.
IIIT Pune: It is a state university and offers BTech in CSE.
Admission:
Admission to BTech CSE requires a minimum of 60% marks in 10+2 boards as well as JEE mains rank. The CSE course is filled with projects and assignments along with practicals to help students get a better understanding of the subject.

Which is better: IIIT Pune (CS) or IIEST Shibpur (mechanical)?
