Which is the best option among these; an MBA at Christ, development studies at TISS, an MBA at ICFAI Hyderabad, or rural management at XIMB?
I am a second year MBA student at Christ University Bangalore. I can only tell you about my university.
In all honesty, the campus life of Christ is pretty hectic. The senior students conduct personality development programs for freshers, right after they join the university. After this, the committee selection process starts.
The students have to strike a balance between fest/event management, placements, internships on the one hand, and huge academic load on the other. But with time, they learn to manage everything well.
For MBA students, Christ is known to provide top placements in the Marketing sector. The students receive plenty of placement opportunities in sales, and few opportunities in core marketing, media & advertising, and digital marketing as well.
Christ has a good reputation and a strong alumni network for those who wish to work in the Sales and Marketing sector after their MBA.
Christ University for eco hons or NMIMS, Mumbai for BBA? Which provides a better placement and better education?
If you are considering pursuing a BBA program, you may be interested in knowing that both Christ University and NMIMS, Mumbai are reputable institutions that offer quality education in this field.
Christ University has been consistently ranked as the number one university in India for its BBA program. Which college should I select for mechanical engineering, Christ University or PES Electronic City campus?
I am a second year B.Tech Mechanical student at Christ University Bangalore. I do not know much about PES Electronic City campus, but I can give some insight into my own university.
I was suggested to join Christ University for my engineering studies by my elder sister. She has some friends at the time who were also pursuing their B.Tech from Christ.
I selected Christ for engineering studies because-
- It follows a good curriculum with a decent grading system.
- The faculty is experienced and good at teaching.
- Christ offers good facilities to students. The university library is huge, and it has a vast collection of books related to engineering studies.
- The campus environment is good, there are sports facilities, and the campus also has a swimming pool.
- According to 2024 placement figures, B.Tech has received the highest package offer of 20 LPA among all the different courses offered at the university.
These are some reasons why I would suggest you choose Christ University Bangalore for your B.Tech Mechanical degree.
How can I prepare myself for a micro presentation and personal interview at Christ University, Bangalore?
One of my friends had the chance to appear for the PI and Micro Presentation of Christ University Bangalore and shared his experience of the same. He claimed the overall process to be intriguing but not as challenging as he had expected. He was asked very basic questions during the interview some of them being
- The interview began with his Introduction
- They asked him about his parents and siblings.
- He was asked why did he choose the specific course.
- During the Micro Presentation, he was asked about his vivid experience
- Then he was asked some questions from the class 12th syllabus.
- Then he was asked the reason he chose Christ University.
- Lastly, they asked him about his backup plans if he failed to make it to Christ University.
The overall interview went pretty well and he later got selected!
What is the difference between BBA and BBA (Finance and international business) courses at Christ University?
Christ University offers decent BBA programs to the students. First of all, let's discuss some of the important aspects of the BBA courses offered by Christ University.
BBA (Finance and International Business)-
Fundamentals:

BBA-

However, looking at the description of the above courses, it has been observed that BBA (Finance and International Business) has a much wider scope than BBA.
Which college is best for a BBA, Christ University, Bangalore or Presidency College, Bangalore?
Christ University offers better placement opportunities for BBA. During the 2020 placement drive, BBA had a placement average of 100%. Deloitte, EY, KPMG, and Goldman Sachs were the major recruiters. BBA students received salary packages in the range of INR 4-13 LPA.
BBA at Christ University is taught in a practical manner. The coursework includes several assignments. These assignments are graded for the final score of the semester.
What is Christ University admissions’ interview like?
Due to the lockdown, Christ University took admission interviews online. The interview includes a micro presentation. You will be given 60 seconds to brainstorm your micro presentation topic and then you will have to talk about it for 90 seconds.
The interview usually starts with an introduction round. Students are asked questions about their background, achievements, work experience, etc. There will be questions on the subjects you had in +2 level. The difficulty level of the questions is moderate. At the end of the interview, they usually ask questions like - ‘What makes you a good fit for Christ University?’ or ‘Will you be able to adapt to the environment here?’
Which university is best for an MBA - Acharya, Jain, or Christ?
Among these, Christ University is the best option for MBA. The management department of the university is well-experienced. As a student of Christ, you will get good opportunities to learn through coursework as well as extra-curricular. There are various events and activities around the academic year.
According to the highlights of the last few years, Christ University Bangalore MBA placements have been pretty good. During the 2022 placement drive, the highest CTC offered was INR 20 LPA. Around 244 recruiters visited the placement drive. DE Shaw, ZS Associates were the major recruiters.
How is the B.Com with the CA program in Christ University, Bangalore?
The B.Com with CA program offered by Christ University, Bangalore is a good course. But the course work is heavy and the institute has strict rules in place regarding attendance.
For their B.Com Finance and Accountancy program, Christ University provides a Chartered Accountant program support and curriculum. Through this program, you will be familiarized with subjects like Accountancy, Company Law, Commercial Law, Taxations, Cost and Management Accounting, etc.
The coursework is designed in a way that your CA foundations will be cleared during the first year. During second year, you will learn about the intermediate level of CA. During your final year, you will undergo an article-ship. The university also offers professional training for 180 days during 5th and 6th semesters. This program has continuous internal assessments through poster making, reviews, essay writing, etc.
Christ University, Bangalore offers good placements for the program. Axxela, Bain capability network, Boston consulting group are the major recruiters for B.Com and CA program. Students usually receive an average CTC of around INR 5.7 LPA.
Is Christ University, Bangalore, a good option for B.Tech?
Although Christ University has a huge reputation nation-wide, it is mainly known for its management and undergraduate programs.
I decided to pursue my B.Tech from Christ, but I found out that this institution is not the best option in Bangalore for engineering studies. After a lot of research and consultation with my friends, I have curated a list of good engineering colleges in Bangalore which you can consider for your B.Tech.
Here is the list-
- MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology
- BMS College of Engineering
- International Institute of Information Technology (Bangalore)
- PES University
- RV College of Engineering
Christ is well known in the industry, but it does not have any standing in the job market for engineering courses. It offers average level B.Tech courses. Thus, I would recommend you consider other good engineering colleges in Bangalore for a B.Tech instead of opting for Christ.
