Is it worth joining KLE Technological University?

AS
Abhinav Singh Posted On : December 24th, 2021
B.E. Electronics and Communication Engineering, KLE Technological University (2019)

Yes, it is worth joining the KLE Technological University. One of my friends graduated from KLETECH and here are some snippets of his experience at the institute.

  • College Management - The staff in the administration especially the vice-chancellor, has great aspirations. They are trying to introduce new education methods like flipped classrooms, practical learning, industry-collaborated projects.
  • Faculty - The faculties are very cooperative. They try to finish the syllabus in time.
  • Atmosphere - The college atmosphere encourages you to pursue whatever you want. If you want to start a company you can take the help of CTIE. If you have a start-up plan, you can take help from startup street.
  • Students - Fellow students are friendly with almost no raggings. Girls-Boys interaction is a bit less.

Placements - The placement percent is increasing every year for CSE, ECE, and EEE but the Mechanical branch is struggling a bit because of the less market demand.

  • Top recruiters are Accenture, Infosys, TCS, Hexaware, Mindtree, Wipro, EVRY, DCX Technologies, etc. The top roles offered are developer, programmer, cybersecurity, etc.
  • Vikas classes are of great help to the students in terms of placements but effective only in the 6th sem.
Particulars Stats
Placement percent 90%
Highest salary INR 30 LPA
Average salary INR 6 LPA
Median salary INR 4 LPA

Overall, joining KLE Technological University will definitely be worth your time and money.

How are the placements and faculty at SJBIT? Which college is better for a CSE, SJBIT, or KLE Technological University?

KG
Kamakshi Gupta Posted On : April 6th, 2023
Studied at SJBIT

If you're considering pursuing a Bachelor's degree in CSE in Bangalore, then SJBIT and KLE Technological University are two great colleges. However, SJBIT could be a better option for you if you're interested in CSE. The following are the reasons:

  • SJBIT has some really good faculties, but it also depends on your perception of them. It has a reputation for having experienced and qualified professors who can provide excellent guidance and support to students.
  • The placement opportunities at SJBIT are pretty good. The placement cell actively works to secure job opportunities. Many well-known companies such as Infosys, Wipro, and TCS have visited the campus for recruitment drives in the past, and SJBIT students have secured jobs with attractive salaries.
  • SJBIT has a strict attendance policy, which means that you have to maintain a certain level of attendance to be eligible to write exams. This could be a good thing for some students who need the discipline of regular attendance to stay motivated and focused.
  • If you decide to study at SJBIT, I would recommend that you choose CSE, ISE or ECE branches. These are the core branches that the college is known for, and the quality of education and infrastructure for these branches is generally better than for other branches.
  • On the other hand, KLE Technological University may not be the best option for you if you're interested in CSE. The college is more focused on traditional engineering disciplines such as Mechanical and Civil engineering, and while it does offer CSE, it may not be the best place to study that particular discipline.

SJBIT could be a better choice for you if you're interested in pursuing CSE in Bangalore. With its experienced faculty, good placement opportunities, and strict attendance policy, you could receive a high-quality education that prepares you for a successful career in the field.

Can we change branches from ECE to CSE in KLE Technological University?

SG
Sangita Giri Posted On : October 12th, 2020
B.E. from KLE Technological University Hubli (2020)

KLE Technology University is one of the best private colleges in Hubli. NIRF ranked it 151 in the category of best engineering colleges of India. It has a total of 3500 undergraduates and 120 postgraduate students. KLE offers 18 courses across 4 streams. It has a limited number of seats and a campus area of 64 acres. It is recognized by both UGC and AICTE and affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University. There is an intake of 1200 vacant seats in B. Tech.

For changing the branch at KLE Technological University, there are two options.

  • If you are allotted the ECE branch in first counselling, then you can apply for CSE in second or third counselling. If you have allotted ECE branch in second counselling, you can do the same procedure in the third round also. It is completely valid and acceptable to change the branches if you are not happy with the branch you have got.

  • If you are in the first year and you want to change the branch for any of the reasons, then you only have one chance and one way and that is to score good enough. Scoring more than 8.5 CGPA is the only way in which you can change your branch in the first year. There should be no backlogs in the first year if you want to change branches.

These are the only options through which one can appear for changing the branches. These procedures work only if there are vacant seats in the CSE branch.
