What is your review of Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies?

YA
Yash Arora Posted On : February 28th, 2023
Post Graduation in Master of Business Administration Degrees & Marketing, Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (Graduated 2018)

Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, JBIMS is a prestigious business school that has four major advantages. These return on investment, alumni network, location, and faculty.

Return on investment is a key factor that sets JBIMS apart from other institutes. You can complete the entire course by paying only 2-3 lakhs, and the average placement is around 18 LPA.

JBIMS is located in Mumbai, a city that is home to many corporate headquarters. This makes it convenient for students to interact with top companies and increase their chances of getting a good placement.

The faculty at JBIMS consists of industry experts who have extensive knowledge and experience in top management positions. They provide students with an invaluable opportunity to learn from their experiences and expertise.

JBIMS has a strong alumni network, which is one of its defining characteristics. As one of the oldest institutes in the country, JBIMS has a vast network of alumni who are well-established in their careers. However, one area where JBIMS lags behind is infrastructure.

The current campus building is old, but there are plans for a campus renovation and JBIMS has been allotted land near Kalina. In the near future, this factor is expected to be overcome. In conclusion, JBIMS is a top-notch institute with several advantages, and if the infrastructure is ignored, it would receive a 5/5 rating.

As an electrical engineer, should I join the NICMAR IFDM course?

RP
Roshni Pradhan Posted On : September 8th, 2021
PGP Advanced Construction Management & Project Management, NICMAR (2018)

NICMAR Pune will not offer you the best education, not only for electrical engineering but for anyone pursuing a specific stream of discipline. It will be best if you avoid joining it.

One of my cousins mentions that he lost two years of his time investing energy in this institute when it allegedly did not quite fill the void for him. This scenario has been for the campus of Hyderabad. In a nutshell, you should research thoroughly about other campuses of the same and decide if it is a fruitful choice nonetheless.

How are the papers set by IIT Madras like?

PP
Pratiti Poddar Posted On : July 26th, 2021
Studied at University of Mumbai (2019)

A few of my friends graduated from the IIT Madras and here are some points related to your question that might help you. I am assuming that you are asking about the course papers.

  • It is a common misconception that the paper is set by a single IIT.
  • Every year the question paper is always set by a team of professors chosen from different IITs.
  • Various sets of papers are made and finally, one set is chosen by the head of the committee.
  • It depends on the specific subject and the paper setting committee.
  • The Mathematics paper is well balanced with Algebra, Analysis, and parts of Applied Maths and topology.
  • The questions are subjective with a check on your understanding of the concepts and proofs.
  • If a person is good at Algebra and Analysis, one can get through the paper.

You do need to remember some basic things like the Papers are regular like you had in school. The questions are from the course curriculum. You can of course expect a basic level of difficulty in the questions. Everything depends on the course and the faculty. It can get very easy and it can get difficult, according to that.

AS
Ashmita Sinha Posted On : April 1st, 2023
Masters from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi

All the entrance exams for IIT Delhi executive MBA are just a formality and the program itself is just a source of money for the Institute. The total fees stand at 9 lakhs which is too much for a part-time course. You will have to spare time from your hectic work schedule to pursue this course which in itself is a challenge.

Executive MBA from IIT Delhi admission process comprises 2 stages

  • The first phase wherein, General aptitude, English, and Business related questions are asked to prepare for which, you can go through Business news and newspapers
  • The second phase comprises the GDPI round, wherein a group discussion is followed by an interview conducted by a few panelists. In this, you are asked about your past experiences, and achievements and assess your confidence level and communication skills. To prepare for this, prepare well for questions related to your current job.

The process is not that difficult and can be cleared by most professionals.
