University of Rajasthan offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses under regular and self-financing schemes. Students can opt for their desired course under any scheme depending on their convenience. The major difference between regular and self-finance courses at UNIRAJ is the variation in fee structure. While all regular courses of Rajasthan University have a minimal fee that is affordable by most of the students, the course fee under the self-finance scheme is on the higher end of the spectrum. 

For regular seats at UNIRAJ, the expenses of the course are mostly funded by the government or UGC grants, hence the fee is low and students will be required to pay only a minimum amount as the course fee. But in the case of self-financing seats, no grants are provided by the government or UGC. Consequently, the amount required for providing the necessary facilities at the university is collected from the students by charging an extra fee. For instance, in UNIRAJ, the regular course fee for M.Sc is INR 5440 per year, whereas, for the same course, the fee is INR 65,890 under the self-finance scheme.

IIT Delhi MTech program has seen a growing placement trend over the past few years, and the students get placed in top recruiting companies. The intake for the PGDBA program at IIM Calcutta is 60 students with a gender ratio of around 8% females and 92% males. The batch includes both freshers and students with work experience. The majority of the students have work experience of 1-2 years in areas like Engineering, Manufacturing, IT, Consulting & Analytics, BFSI, Healthcare, etc.

IIM Calcutta recorded a 100% placement of the last batch i.e. 7th PGDBA batch (2021-23). The batch had a total of 60 students, among them, 58 students were placed and 2 students opted out of the placement. The highest package stood at INR 52 LPA and the average package at INR 31.37 LPA. The graduates from PGDBA were offered roles in domains like Business model Analytics, Financial Research, Market Research, Analytics Business Consulting, Deep Learning, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Business Analytics, Risk Analytics, etc. 

The placement has been consistently increasing. In 2023, the average package has increased by 5.6% and the highest package has been increased by 22.4% from the last batch.
