All three colleges fall on the list of top Architecture institutes in India. NIT Calicut and NIT Trichy are known for Architecture as their best programs. Having to know some people studying in these institutes, I can say that though NITs are the best for architecture, Jamia is also at par with them.

• It is obvious that NIT is a much more popular brand than Jamia. But it is still really good when it comes to architecture.
• Jamia has the locational advantage of being situated in the capital city.
• Jamia has better industrial exposure compared to NIT Trichy or Calicut.
• The course curriculum of NITs is more inclined towards the technical side, which is an upside.
• Placements at NITs are definitely better, but Jamia is also not lagging behind.
• The infrastructure is better in the NITs than Jamia, be it labs, seminar halls, library, etc.
• The fees at NITs are a bit higher than Jamia.
• Though students will get better opportunities after graduating from NIT Trichy or Calicut.

Therefore, it is suggested that you opt for NIT Trichy or Calicut for pursuing architecture. If not then you can go for Jamia instead, as it is also a good college.

I would suggest you to go for JMI Delhi. The reason for this is that JMI is very similar to the NITs. The environment and crowd are top-notch. Seniors at Jamia are also very helpful and cooperative. 

The professors and other members of the faculty are well-experienced. They even help you plan your career after college. JMI alumni help you out in getting jobs and a decent salary amount.

Though it is your decision to make, I still would prefer the fact that you choose JMI Delhi over IET Lucknow, for CSE or ECE. Studying in a well-reputed institution with years of educational experience is much better. This will help in networking as well.

Among the above two institutes, for students interested specifically in computer science, JMI CSE should be a better option. But, students having no specific preference in streams should consider Mechanical at DTU.

• As discussed above, students interested in Computer Science and IT should take JMI CSE, which generally has some decent opportunities. The top 7% of the batch gets more than 7 LPA package salary in JMI CSE.
• Students having no specific preference can choose DTU Mechanical, which provides a large amount of exposure inside the campus, along with several good opportunities during and after the course.
• Students at DTU Mechanical usually get a 7.5+ LPA package offer in some of the best companies working in the core mechanical sector. The course of DTU Mechanical is considered to be one of the best in India.
• JMI has much lesser fees than DTU, which makes it a lot of a more preferred option. For students successful in getting a decent placement offer at JMI, it provides a much better return on investment than DTU.

Considering all the above factors, both the institutes have their own set of advantages and are worth considering.

I have friends in both the colleges, Jamia Millia and BIT Sindri. Here is a brief comparison of the two institutions.

• JMI Btech has a 100% placement record.
• JMI also offers better faculty, infrastructure, academic environment, and extracurricular activities. 
• BIT Sindri used to be quite reputed previously. But the infrastructure of the institute is not up to the mark. Many of my friends left the institute just because of the poor hostel facilities. And those who are still at the institute complain about the poor salary package offered in the placements. The environment of the institute is also not that great, other than the college. 

Despite these facts, you will find good reviews about BIT Sindri on different social media. These reviews are out of love for the institute not based on facts. There is no way you will find the same facilities as JMI, at BIT Sindri.
