Which is better for CSE: BIET Jhansi, KNIT Sultanpur or JSS Noida?

Among the government colleges, BIET Jhansi is one of the best for pursuing B. Tech for civil engineering or mechanical branch. It is better than JSS as an institute if you want to prepare for competitive examinations like GATE.

BIET Jhansi is a government college whereas JSS Noida is a private college. I have heard a lot about JSS Noida as my brother graduated from this college last year. JSS being a private college charges a higher amount than BIET.
Both of the colleges are good enough to take admission but let’s compare it with a few factors.
- The infrastructure of BIET isn’t up to the mark whereas JSS Noida is well-maintained and has a beautiful campus that includes greenery as well.
- The hostel services and the premises of BIET are cheaper and aren’t well-furnished.
- As Jhansi is in Bundelkhand and it is a small city, BIET doesn’t provide good facilities because of its location.
- On the contrary, the students of JSS Noida have the access to prepare for any other competitive exams like CAT, UPSC, GATE, CSE, ESE, GMAT/GRE and many more.
- Noida is near Ghaziabad, which is the NCT of Delhi and many coaching institutes run in Ghaziabad.
- This fortunate opportunity isn’t available for the students of Jhansi.

HBTU and IET Lucknow both are government colleges and are considered to be tier 3 colleges whereas JSS Noida is a private institute and is considered a Tier 4 college. Normally tier 3 is favored upon tier 4 but in this case, JSS Noida is a very fine institute as of now both in terms of academics and placements.
- Private colleges like JSS Noida offer better opportunities and facilities than government institutes.
- The placement HBTU and IET Lucknow are the same as JSS Noida.
- Students from the CSE branch of JSS Noida get into well-based companies and MNCs and are offered packages far better than that of HBTU and IET Lucknow.

CSE branch has more value than any other engineering branch. The best option would be CSE from JSS Noida rather than Chemical engineering from HBTU or other engineering branches from IET Lucknow.
Which is better, JSS Noida or PSIT Kanpur?
JSS Noida is better than PSIT Kanpur. Being located in Noida, it offers better exposure. Delhi NCR houses many reputed MNCs. So, you will have better off-campus placement opportunities. Due to the locational advantage, it’s easier to get internships and projects. There are many good coaching institutes near the campus.
Students also receive good placements through campus drive. Samsung, Wipro, TCS, Amazon, etc. are among the major recruiters that take part in JSS Noida placements.
Which college should I choose for CSE: BIET Jhansi, KNIT Sultanpur, MMM Gorakhpur or JSS Noida?
Among all the mentioned colleges, MMM Gorakhpur is the best.
JSS Noida is a private college and all the other three colleges are government colleges. So, choosing a private UPTU college over a government college does not make sense.
