Which is better, JSS Noida or PSIT Kanpur?

JSS Noida is a private institution and ranks 201 among the top private engineering institutes in India as per NIRF Ranking 2020. The placement offered at JSS Noida is 90% every year in top quality MNCs. 

PSIT Kanpur ranks 39th among the top engineering colleges and ranked 13th in placements among all private engineering colleges as per TOI ranking. It always maintains a placement record of above 90% every year. 

Admission process:

JSS Noida

• The candidates must have 60% marks in 10+2 in the science subjects.
• The candidates must secure a valid rank in the UPSEE examination. 
• The cutoff required is in the range of 1759 - 18894.
• The intake of the students is 180.

PSIT Kanpur

• The candidates must have passed 10+2 from a recognised board attaining 60% and above with PCM.
• BTech admissions are based on the rank of the candidates in JEE Main and UPSEE score. 
• The candidates applying for the BTech program will have to undergo an aptitude test of 30 minutes, highlighting the candidate’s technical knowledge and eligibility for that stream.
• The total seats allocated for each of the departments is 60.
• The cutoff required for UPSEE is in the range of 24534 - 48814.
• The fee required is INR 1.45 LPA.

Placements:- 

Several companies including tech giants regularly visit the campus of JSS Noida every year. Two of the students in 2019 received a highest package of INR 40 LPA. 

Approximately 250 companies visit the PSIT Kanpur every year. The institute witnessed a plethora of placement opportunities with a total number of 1480 placement offers in 2020.
