Should I Go to RNB Global University or Amity University, Jaipur?
One of my friends is currently residing in Jaipur and he recommends RNB Global University, Bikaner for higher education.
Though the quality of education at Amity University Jaipur is not so high and placements are very poor, he took admission to RNB Global University. It has one of the finest infrastructure and rendering world-class facilities one can see on the campus.
The faculty is highly qualified with Ph.D. degrees from top universities around the world. The interaction level between faculty and students is also very high. There's communication both ways, which is a key aspect.
It is situated on a 300-acre campus in the city of Bikaner and assures an all-around development of the students with various student-led activities, cross-college electives for students, and regular visits by eminent personalities with a lot of guest lectures.
How is RNB Global University's hostel?
The university offers excellent living accommodation within the campus, separately for boys and girls ACand Non-AC rooms. It has a wide range of options to meet the needs of all students.
- There are rooms ranging from Common hall to Apartments and you can opt for accommodation as per their convenience and choice.
- Each room has a Bed, Study Table, Mattress, Wardrobe, Overhead Storage, Pantry & Common Hall.
- It has fully equipped gyms, courts for basketball, volleyball, tennis, an attached mess for dining, and 24*7 hostel wardens for each hostel.
- Laundry service is also provided within the campus in both girls' and boys' hostels.
The hostel has excellent living accommodation within the campus, separately for boys and girls. It is up to you to choose the room as per your choice.
Can I get direct admission into RNB Global University?
Admission to each and every program has its own eligibility criteria. RNBGU APT is the official entrance test conducted by RNB Global University, followed by group discussion and Personal Interview.
Apart from this, the university also offers admission on the basis of academic merit. Eligible candidates can fill the online application at the official website or may visit the university campus and submit the admission form.
Does this take me to any job facility?
Yes, you will be given various job opportunities after completing the course. The institute has tie-ups with lots of Production Houses in India and out of India. The institute has witnessed 100% placement job placements.
After doing the animation course, you can also join Production A as an artist. Moreover, you can also join any educational institution as a faculty. It also has its own production house namely - Won Production House CLICK ANIMATION STUDIO.
What is the process of 3d animation? How does 3d animation work?
3D animation is the art of using motion to bring characters to life. There is a lot of software available that you can use to animate your first character. But before starting it, there are some other processes or other departments involved.
- First you need to have one rigged character or prop with all the controllers available. With the controllers, you will be able to move the body parts as you want and then key that value into different frames.
- You need to have an environment where the character is present. There are a lot of free rigged characters and environments available in the market which you can download and start working for personal projects or training.
- When we talk about the production/studio pipeline, it is a lot more complex. There are a lot of departments involved in the process and it is time taking.
If looked at it in short, the process goes like this:
StoryConcept> ArtModeling> Texturing> Rigging> Animation> FinalLighiting> Rendering> FX> Composting.
Why is the Design Aptitude Test conducted?
DAT is conducted by Parul Institute of Design to seek evidence of the attitude, aptitude, achievement, motivation and perception essential in a potential student of design. The selection process will be held in three stages
- DAT- Design Aptitude Test
- Portfolio Round
- Personal Interview
Are there any scholarships available?
Yes. Limited number of scholarships are provided by PID to deserving candidates.
Since there are three rounds for admission process, the average scores of the following shall be considered:
- DAT
- Portfolio
- Personal Interview
Hence, Candidates who have scored:
90% and above- 30% scholarship on the first year fees.
80-90%- 20% scholarship on the first year fees.
70-80% - 10% scholarship on the first year fees.
I can't draw , but I have ideas and I want to be a designer. Is that possible? Can I still apply for DAT?
Drawing is a skill, learnt and perfected by practice. PID DAT is not just to judge your skills at drawing or sketching but rather to assess your ability to question the design problem and communicate your ideas/design solutions.
Can a student apply for PID admissions more than once?
Yes, a student can appear for DAT for an unlimited number of attempts provided he/she fulfills the prescribed eligibility criteria.
Is there any waiver for any of the round (DAT/Portfolio/Personal Interview)?
No, there is no waiver for any of the rounds. It is mandatory to appear for all of the three rounds.
