I am currently enrolled in the BTech Mechanical Engineering course at Parul, so I can answer your question. Here at Parul, we have an amazing faculty for the Mechanical department, who are highly qualified and hold PhDs from reputed central institutes in India.
The faculty here always follows a two-way interactive teaching method. Overall, the learning environment is very healthy and holistic.
I am a B.Tech CSE (AI) student at KIET Ghaziabad.
Our department faculty is experienced and qualified. But the AKTU curriculum needs revision and update. The first year curriculum teaches Applied Science, which is not useful for CSE students.
At present, the job market is not in a good condition. This is especially true for the IT sector. This is the reason why CSE/IT placements wouldn’t be as good as expected at KIET and other engineering colleges. The average package for CSE in 2024 at KIET is expected to be around 6 LPA, which is not a very attractive figure.
Apart from the faculty and placements, KIET also offers decent infrastructure. The classrooms are fully Air-conditioned, and the canteen serves good quality food. The computer labs are well equipped with properly functioning computers that have good specifications. The entire campus has wifi facilities, but in some areas the access is blocked. One can’t use a VPN inside campus.
Thus KIET offers good faculty and facilities, especially for B.Tech CSE and related branches.
As a recent VJTI graduate, I think I’ll be the right person to answer your question. All VJTI faculty members are PhD holders from reputed institutes, and their passion for teaching and research is commendable. All of them are experts in their respective fields.
You can always clear your doubts or engage with your peers if you face any such difficulties. There will be ample opportunities for extra learning resources as well. You can always speak to your department HOD if the problem persists. Rest assured, you will have a satisfactory experience at VJTI.
LPU has a separate Management Department which is “Mittal School of Business”. It is accredited by ACBSP from the USA. NIRF has placed The LPU’s Mittal School of Business at 32 among top Management colleges in India.
There are more than 20 faculty members for Management courses, and LPU offers a total of 300 seats for BBA. The BBA courses have several specializations- Finance, International Business, Operation Management, Travel and Tourism Management, etc.
The BBA faculty at LPU offers quality education and makes the students industry ready. They organize classes for communication skills, conduct regular events, guest lectures, seminars, etc. This helps students in enhancing their knowledge and industry exposure.
The faculty at LPU offers internship and placement training as well. My teachers at LPU helped me a lot during the placement season.
My experience at LPU has been amazing. The institution offers good facilities and opportunities for management students. The student to faculty ratio is also decent for BBA and other management courses at LPU.
Hello, This is Himanshu Rathore. I've completed my BTech CSE from LPU in 2021. LPU has helpful and generous faculty members. The B.Tech CSE faculty is highly qualified and dedicated towards students.
The department faculty is friendly and willing to engage with students. They put great emphasis on practical learning and share their own experiences while teaching. The CSE curriculum matches the academic standards of other well reputed Universities.
I am not aware of the exact faculty to student ratio at the CSE department, but I can assure you that there is ample staff for the branch. Mr. Kundan Munjal is one of the faculty members. He teaches Theory of Automata, Mr Anurag Singh Tomar teaches Computer Networking, Mr. Krishan Bansal teaches AI and Mobile Computing, and Mrs. Anjali Verma teaches Compiler Design.
These are some really good teachers and mentors from the B.Tech CSE branch. They are very helpful towards their students, and they offer valuable career advice apart from teaching so well.
All my teachers at the department have been very supportive. I firmly can say that LPU has some of the best teachers for BTech CSE.
Hello there, this is Ayush Singh completed BJMC from LPU. I would like to help you as I have completed my bachelor's at LPU and trust me, my experience was very good as per my expectations.
During my degree the average ratio was 50:1. A UG class usually has about 50 students and each professor teaches them. But as per my seniors, masters level classes have lesser students. To answer the second part, my experience was really amazing with the the faculty. The professors were very knowledgeable and knew their topics. They would also go the extra mile and help us with doubt sessions and extra classes if required
During my journey at LPU, I had a helpful and supportive teaching staff and mentors, they were priceless. In my first year I got a chance to interact with a very intellectual professor, he was a senior editor journalist from Times of India. He was very generous and helpful and guided me to find an internship and made me realize the value of knowledge outside the books and class.
What I mean is that the teachers there are very encouraging and they challenge you to go beyond your comfort zone and potential, and they are always there to help you out if you’re facing any issue, any student can contact them and take extra classes. which I like most about LPU. Unlike in any other government college where professors are not coming and not listening, instead LPU faculties are very punctual and cooperative.
Christ University has some of the best faculty. You can expect a student-to-faculty ratio to be around 40:1,80:1,20:1 or 16:1. It all depends on the course you are pursuing. Overall, the faculty are polite and friendly. They are well experienced in their domain. Most of them have a doctorate which gives them an edge. The faculty are aged around 30-60 years and have profound knowledge in their fields. The HODs are in higher positions with more experience. However, the faculty sometimes gives lectures in Kannada which becomes difficult to understand.
LPU has set a milestone in providing placement to students from various branches, similar in case of BTech electrical engineering. Placement and faculty is good for this branch. LPU brings the best recruiters for the students, providing them a better career and placement. For this, the university faculties train the students from the first year. They give them practical experience in different industry-related aspects.
The faculty members are experienced in both academics and practical knowledge. They contribute 40% towards placing a student in the best company. They teach students using modern techniques and smart classes to give them an idea about the outside world. They prepare the students with probable questions that recruiters may ask them at the interview.
I’m a student at LPU, and I want to share my experience with the faculty members of this university.
The faculty in LPU's MBA department is professional and experienced in research and teaching. They provide practical knowledge to the students alongside smart classes. Students from different regions study at LPU, so the faculty use English to communicate with students from these regions.
During MBA courses, the professors encourage students to read physical newspapers to enhance their vocabulary. Professors organize the batch of MBA into different groups to discuss things in a group, which will further enhance their English speaking skills. During the placement drive, faculties train students and impart knowledge on how to crack an interview. They train students with the outside management world and help them equip in such a scenario.
