IIT-BHU has a magnanimous training and placement cell which is responsible for conducting all placement related activities. Students are provided end to end support from aptitude preparations, mock interviews, G.D preparations, ppts to final placements. You can get a package of 4.5-5 LPA in core placements while core packages can go as high as 14-15 LPA.

EEC is a premier institute located in Chennai. The institute offers quality education in the field of Engineering. Besides academics, the institute also gives emphasis on various extracurriculars. Also, the recent placement statistics suggest that the institute has a good placement rate.

IEM Kolkatais known for its great placements. The Computer Science and Engineering department is one of the oldest departments in the Institute of Engineering and Management. Every year around 150 students in B.Tech (CSE) and 18 students in M.Tech (CSE) get admitted to the department. IEM Kolkata B.Tech (C.S.E) provides around 95% Placements in 2020, with the highest salary packages 22 lacks, and lowest packages with 4 lakhs.

• For CSE, renowned companies such as TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, IBM, Tech Mahindra, and so on come for picking up some talents. TCS, Wipro, and Infosys are the mass recruiters on the campus.
• The Placement Cell of the Institute of IEM, Kolkata has set a standard for its placement by providing a minimum one offer to each and every student who has taken admission in IEM, Kolkata. Placement starts from the month of August and usually continues throughout the year until May.
• In IEM, placement for CSE is almost 100% in 2019. The lowest package offered is around 3.6 LPA while the average package will be around 5-6 lakhs per annum. And the highest will be about 18 lakhs per annum. TCS comes for placement and offers around 8 LPA to 25-30 students.

Overall the IEM gives good average placement in CSE. IEM placed an average of 97% of students in the last three years, with good salary packages.

Academy of Maritime Education and Training is a private university academy set up in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The college is recognized by the UGC and approved by the AICTE. The college is an AIU member and has been accredited grade ‘B’ by the NAAC.

The college offers Bachelor of Engineering in Marine Engineering as a four-year course. The fees for the course is 13.90 lakhs for the full period. The course at the college has been ranked 201st by NIRF Rankings. The college offers both online and offline modes of admission.

Admission Procedure:

• The basic eligibility criteria for the course is having completed 10+2 examinations with a 50% aggregate.

• Students will be selected on the basis of written test, personal interview, and medical examination.

• Along with academic qualification, the aspirants need to be physically fit for sea service under standard norms. The eyesight should be up to 6/12 in both eyes or 6/9 in the better eye, 6/18 in the other eye, and no color blindness.

There are 14 permanent faculty members and 2 visiting faculty in the Marine Engineering Department at the institute.

• The college is built over a 7-acre campus and is home to a well-equipped library. The institute also has a number of laboratories.
