How good is the PGDM in IT/systems at TAPMI? Are there good placements in that sector?
TAPMI is a top B-school. It's also reputable. IT/Systems placements are uncertain. I'll add that IT/Systems are fading. Focus on AI-ML, Data Science, and Business Analytics to succeed in IT. Dual specialization like AI+ML, Marketing+Business Analytics, etc. is even better.
Ashoka School of Business (ASB Hyderabad) is a top B-school offering this combination. IISWBM Kolkata, FMS Delhi, ITM Mumbai, etc. are similar colleges. ASB Hyderabad has great ROI and placements.
How do I excel in studies and get a good placement in electrical from NIT Raipur?
A relative of mine used to be a student of NIT Agartala. If you are talking in terms of the quality of the education, then NIT Durgapur is better than Agartala. NIT Agartala is good, though. You will be able to prepare for your ESE, PSU, GATE examinations here.
Coming to placements, around four to eight companies including PSUs visit NIT Agartala for the purpose of recruiting students who are from Civil Engineering Department. This department in NIT Agartala is not as good and reputed as the one in the former NIT.
After completion of your first year in NIT Agartala, you will get the opportunity to change your branch. This is called the ‘Sliding Process’. Although it is subjective, if you have a call from all these colleges then just go for IIM-A, without any second thought.
Is it true that the lowest salary in TAPMI is 7 LPA after spending 17 lakh in studying?
Yes, it is, and it is how average works. Some are above and some are below the average package. Everyone does not and can not get the exact same package as the average package of any institute or college.

Will past academics affect my placements at BIMTECH?

What are the placements for MBATech at NMIMS Indore?
NMIMS is a very reputed institute in our country. It specializes in its MBA programs and it has come up with a course that comprises both Technology (Engineering) and Management (MBA). Being a student here myself, I can say that it is a really good college with cooperative faculty members.
- It’s a 5-year course carefully divided as per the curriculum.

The placement looks bright because the PGDM has been placed with top MNC’s like Microsoft, Crisil, ICICI Bank, IFFCO Tokio, etc. Thus it is a promising course.
How good is the MBA (Finance) in ISB Hyderabad in terms of faculty, placements, curriculum, and all major and minor aspects?
In terms of faculty, placements, curriculum and other aspects, ISB Hyderabad is good for MBA Finance. The curriculum is well-designed and covers the current standard practices in the industry. The basic Fiannace subjects are covered in earlier in the program and students get to choose their electives in the last 5 terms.
ISB placements are good for Finance. But it depends a lot on the students. The job profile you will be offered will depend a lot on your background, profile, interests, etc. During 2022 placements, the salary packages offered for Finance profiles were in the range of INR 24.5 LPA - 38 LPA.
