Ranking-wise the preference order of the above-mentioned courses is
IIT Delhi > IIT Kanpur > IIT Roorkee > IIT BHU
Based on their closing rank, the branches can be arranged in the following order
Chemical>Metallurgy>Textile
This was based on general data, but if you have an inclination towards a specific branch, then go for it without much hesitation. Your passion will keep you motivated despite various challenges thrown at you. To the best of my knowledge, most professors of the IIT BHU are approachable and down to earth. They provide help and support to any students asking for help. Prof. P.K. Mishra, Department of Chemical Engineering, IIT BHU is one of the most approachable professors in this IIT. He contributed in 6 patents, 71 research papers, many projects, books, and obtained various recognized awards. Still, he is supportive and friendly. Anyone can easily talk to him. He is also strict about discipline and rules. According to students, he is kind in nature and helps the students who reach out for help.
