Which institute is better for CSE, BITS Pilani, IIT Guwahati or IIT BHU?
When it comes to Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) programs, IIIT Hyderabad is undoubtedly one of the best options available. The study environment and coding culture at IIIT Hyderabad are unmatched, making it a great choice for students interested in CSE.
However, if you are looking for a more well-rounded college experience that includes a relaxed and enjoyable campus life, an older IIT may be a better choice for you. While IIIT Hyderabad excels in academics, it may not provide the same level of student life experience as an IIT.

It will not be fair to compare BITS Pilani and BIT Sindri. There is no collation between both of the colleges, and BITS Pilani is way ahead in terms of all factors such as Placement, Infrastructure, Educational, Ambience, Labs, etc. despite being a Private college.

Before deciding, you should check out the seniors at both colleges and see where you fit in easily.
On the other hand, if you are interested in Civil Engineering, IIT Dharwad is an excellent option. It is a well-established institute with a good reputation in the field of engineering.
If you haven't figured out your interests yet, then it is suggested that you opt for BITS Pilani in Computer Science. The placement opportunities and the chance to study abroad/startups in CS are higher. It is difficult to study CS subjects on different MOOCs while pursuing Civil Engineering at IIT Dharwad. So, choose your branch and college according to your future plans.

I have few friends at BITS, s I can give you some idea about their ENI branch.
- ENI course offered by BITS Pilani is great in terms of academics and pay package. ENI is derived from EEE courses with only 3 - 4 courses being different from EEE.
- BITS also offers extensive lab facilities for their EEE branch due to CEERI.
- According to the recent placement highlights, the average and highest CTC offered at BITS is 15.96 LPA and 9.7 LPA. At MNNIT the average and highest CTC are 10 LPA and 49 LPA respectively.

Which one is the best, a dual degree in economics at BITS or ECE at NIT Calicut?
Both the fields are greatly different. One lets you deal with finance and the other with mobile and technology. It completely depends on your interest.
ECE from NIT Calicut seems to be a better option. Because if you opt for it you will just have to brush up your knowledge on physics and learn more about it. Whereas economics will be a new subject and it will take a lot of time to learn it from scratch.
- In terms of college, BITS is surely a better option than NIT Calicut. But it’s not just about college, an NIT CSE graduate can land a job in Google and earn a lot.
- Whereas somebody from IIT with Civil would have to compromise as there are not a lot of jobs offered in that field.
- If you are interested in pursuing M.Tech from India or abroad or if you even want to have a great job, in the beginning, ECE from NIT Calicut is the best option.
- But if you want to learn economics from scratch and pursue it to become an economist then economics is also a good option.

Therefore, you must look into your interests and not opt for anything which just looks good. ECE is a circuit line and jobs are plenty in them too. So taking up ECE at NIT Calicut is a better option.
