I have friends from both LNCT Bhopal and JIIT Noida, and according to the conversations that I had with them, I will say JIIT is relatively better than the former. The reason, quite clearly, is because the admission shortlisting is based upon the rank secured in JEE Mains, and not on the basis of marks acquired in the boards.

For the first year, the syllabus is the same for all the branches. This gives an overview of all the branches. This does not mean that you will not be studying subjects related to your branch.
