If we talk in terms of the placements for the students who pursue and are pursuing IPM at IIM Indore, they are as high as the placements in the IITs. Some of my friends studied at IIM Indore. According to them, here are some things you need to know about.

• IPM is an Integrated Program in Management and is, therefore, more inclined towards management. 
• It is not really a good idea to make comparisons between an institute that specializes in management and one whose forte is science.
• IIM Indore has completed five years of its flagship IPM program.

The average salary offered to the students of IIM Indore saw a 3% increase from 2020. The average salary of the students who were in the top 100 was INR 33 LPA. In addition to the recruiters that visit the campus every year, some of the first time recruiters that visited this year were Paytm, Tata AIA, NPCI, Blue Star, etc.

One of my friends studied BBA at SCM Pune, so I will be able to give you the placement scenario of Symbiosis Centre for Management Studies. 

• Recruiters that hire students from Symbiosis Centre for Management Studies are KPMG, Accenture, Jindal Steel, Reliance Industries, Aditya Birla Group, ICICI Prudential, Aircel, Ernst & Young, HDFC Bank, RBI, Amazon, Con Hewitt, Kotak Life Insurance, Kellogg India, Sanofi, Tommy Hilfiger. 
• The salary package can be higher if you put effort and hard work into college. The number keeps fluctuating, so instead of worrying about placement, focus on learning and gaining new knowledge. 
• You might also get a pre-placement offer where you can do an internship. SCMS gives several opportunities as it is diverse in nature, which usually lacks in other BBA colleges.

As you have not mentioned any specifications, let me just describe the placement scenario of Metallurgy at NIT Trichy.

• The placements generally vary from year to year. 
• Out of a batch of around 60 students, people looking for placements every year is around 40.
• The rest of the people either go for higher studies or have some other plans. 
• Most of the people get into material science-related fields at very good universities.
• Out of the 40 students, around 30 usually get placed. 
• Companies that usually open for metallurgy graduates include, Core Metal (steel/ aluminium), Automobile, Analytics, Software and others.
• There are a few companies that are regular visitors. The rest depends on the market and your training placement coordinator.
• Placements for metallurgy students are lesser than the other departments.

So, you need to act upon those selected shots you get. You'll have many chances throughout the year. You will also get a lot of guidance from immediate seniors.

As my friend was a part of the 2013-15 batch, DoMs-NIT Trichy, the structure is quite known to me. 

• They have a decent placement that is almost 100% placements are provided by NIT Trichy and except 3-4 students, everyone gets placed. 
• The fees of NIT Trichy are also reasonable as it is a government college. 
• The average package provided by the Institute is of 6 LPA while the highest package rose to 8.5 LPA. 
• Some of the major recruiting companies for MBA students at DoMs NIT Trichy are Aricent, Microsoft, PepsiCo, etc. 

So, the conclusion is that if you are confused about the placements in NIT Trichy, don't think twice as it provides decent packages.

nitieNITIE is good not just for operations. There are different domains in NITIE that are open for a number of profiles. A major part is dominated by Operations followed by Consulting, Marketing, Finance, IT, etc.

If your forte is finance and has a solid background in finance, then big names such as Edelweiss, Deloitte, Axis Bank, Yes Bank, etc, will seek to hire you for roles in financial fields.
