IIITM, Gwalior, and NIT, Delhi are two prime institutes of India and are both approved by AICTE. While IIITM is also accredited by NAAC. NIT is accredited by UGC as well. NIRF has ranked IIITM Gwalior and NIT Delhi at 100th and 251st place for Engineering respectively.

Admission:

NIT Delhi offers BTech and MTech programs for CSE, whereas IIITM Gwalior offers a BTech program for the same.

IIITM:

• For BTech CSE students require 75% in 10+2 and valid JEE Main score. In 2019 the closing cutoff was 10780.

NIT Delhi:

• The eligibility criteria for admission to B.Tech. is 75% in 10+2 (PCM) and JEE Main score for M.Tech., students need 60% in B.Tech. and a valid GATE score.

The general rank of 1430 (or a score of 624) is good enough to get colleges that are even better than ABV-IIITM Gwalior. With this rank, a candidate can get into NITs and many more institutes that have a much better curriculum and placement than ABV-IIITM Gwalior.

NIT Kurukshetra is one of the best engineering colleges in India and is known for its course structure and placements. ECE course at NIT, Kurukshetra is not very popular however, it has its advantages of being a research and theory-driven course with passionate students showing incredible results.

IIIT Pune: It is a state university and offers BTech in CSE.

Admission:

IIITDM Jabalpur:

It was established by the Ministry of Human resource development and has been offering unparalleled placement opportunities since the start. The computer science course is one of the most demanded courses at the institute. IIIT Chennai:

Since it is relatively new, it provides modern infrastructure and facilities to students for their studies. For CSE they have curated computer labs and a well-designed course structure.

The institute offers a BTech CSE program and the admission is through JEE Mains.

They provide high placements with an average salary of 5.5 LPA and the highest being 10 LPA. Their top recruiters include Amazon, Infosys, TCS, Cognizant, Asian Paints, etc.

Thus all of these colleges are excellent for their course structure and education techniques. All of them provide excellent job opportunities and are highly demanded colleges of India. Students are required to get an impressive rank to get admission to the Computer Science course. As for which will be better, you should be the one to decide that.

One of my friends was a student of this institute, but he did not know about the 5 years dual degree program in IIEST Shibpur. He told me that no one even knows about this new university's dual degree course; thereby, if you love to get risks, then take admission to enter here.

Besides, he told me that he was also unaware of the reputation along with the education quality of the other two institutes. However, in IIEST Shibpur, you will get immense learning opportunities; additionally, education quality is also not bad as it is an ancient institute. Rather it improves a lot after becoming INI.

It is challenging to state which institute is better if the student doesn’t know the institute properly. Besides, it is also important to understand what is actually better as the thinking of a student.

However, you are from outside of West Bengal, then IIIT Gwalior must be the first priority, although IIEST Shibpur is a reputed institute. The faculties of IIEST Shibpur are experienced enough, but most of them are Bengali. So, preference will be given to students from West Bengal, as the home state would be a great advantage. They will be able to gain all the opportunities like communication. It is because the students from West Bengal can speak in Bengali far better way than the others.

If there is a comparison between IIIT Gwalior and Jabalpur, then the suggestion will be for IIIT Gwalior, as it offers better placement than the other. Besides, it also has vastly alleged alumni and knowledgeable faculties.

Among the above institutes, ABV-IIIT Gwalior is definitely the best choice for pursuing Computer Science.

IIITM Gwalior:?

Electrical at NIT KKR is as good as an IT course at IIITM Gwalior. With their amazing curriculum, faculties, and student exposure one can easily ace in the subjects at respective institutes. If your heart and soul lie in Electrical then you must go for NIT KKR or the other way around!

The integrated degree program at IIITM Gwalior offers two formats; B.Tech + MBA and B.Tech + M.Tech. While most students might not go for the dual degree, it does offer an advantage over other degrees in the following terms:

• Students can save one year of master’s degree as integrated programs are of 5 years.
• Students also get the opportunity to opt for other courses that might not be available in mainstream B.Tech programs.
• Students can decide on their masters after the third year; about if they want to pursue an MBA or M.Tech. In this choice, IIITM Gwalior is more famous for its M.tech degree rather than an MBA.
