Vignan University Students Attract Lucrative Packages from Top IT Firms; Check Details Here


Vignan University successfully conducted its placement drive and has managed to attract several MNCs with lucrative packages amid COVID-19. 

A total of 400 Vignan University grabbed job offers from top IT firms including TCS and Cognizant Technologies. 

The University chairman Dr. Lavu Rathaiah said that many students who have received placement offers have cleared their intermediate courses with average percentages before they joined the University for engineering courses.

He also informed that among these students, several have not cleared the Eamcet, the common entrance test for admission into engineering courses. Rathaiah claims that the Vignan University not only provides their students with mere education but also makes them all-rounders once they join the University.

The annual package offered in Vignan University placement drive ranges between INR 3.5 lakh to 7 lakh. 

During the Vignan University placement drive, Vice-chairman and MP Lavu Sri Krishnadevaraya, VC Dr. MYS Prasad, In-charge registrar Dr. PMV Rao, placement cell dean Dr. D Vijaya Krishna and senior professors were also a part of it.

The students who bagged job offers are mostly from the first semester of the final year and are yet to clear their final semester.

Out of the top firms which participated in the Vignan University placement drive, TC offered maximum jobs with a count of 267, followed by Cognizant Technologies with 121 job offers.

Dr. Rathaiah said that the University trains its students in such a manner that their capabilities make them the instant picks by teh top notch industry job providers.

Another 60 IT firms also expressed their willingness to visit the Vignan University campus to hold the recruitment drive in the coming months. 

The University hopes that all the final year students secure jobs by the end of the academic year.
