UP Final Year UG, PG Exam 2021: As per the latest announcement made by Uttar Pradesh Higher Education Department, UP Final Year University Exam 2021 for UG, PG final year students will now be held by August 15, 2021.
UP Final Year University Exam 2021 detailed schedule will be released by the varsities on their respective college websites before the exam commences for all final year undergraduate and postgraduate students. The decision to conduct examinations for terminal year students in the state was formally announced by the Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Dr Dinesh Sharma. Meanwhile, UP 1st and 2nd Year UG/PG students will be promoted to the next year based on internal assessments.
On Tuesday (June 08, 2021), the Deputy Chief Minister formally declared the conduction of UP Final Year College Exams 2021 for UG and PG students through his official Twitter handle.
The tweet reads, “Undergraduate second and final year and postgraduate final year examinations will be conducted by the university by mid-August keeping in view the local conditions Simplification of examination system - OMR based/Multiple choice/combination of detailed questions, reducing the duration to one-and-a-half hour".

Referring to the exam format, and pattern for Final Year UG, PG Exam 2021, Deputy Chief Minister Dr Dinesh Sharma noted that the exams will be based on OMR, and will include both MCQs and detailed questions for UG and PG students.
Keeping in mind the current pandemic situation in the states, the exam duration has been reduced to 1 hour, and 30 minutes. Examinations will be held in blended mode, which includes online viva voce. Students will be awarded practical marks based on their performance in the written examination.
Additionally, students who failed to appear for the examination due to covid-19 restrictions will be given an opportunity to appear in a special reexamination. The examination will be held at the university level.
Students who appear for the examination will be able to check their results a few weeks after the exam commencement. As per Mr Sharma’s statement, the result for students will be released before August 31, 2021.
