New Delhi: SPJIMR and USC Marshall have signed an MOU to open a degree program. Marshall has always sought to extend its worldwide possibilities and alliances, and this cooperation is part of that approach.
The collaboration will open up new opportunities for the school in India. This innovative collaboration provides a one-of-a-kind Indian path to a Marshall degree.
The MOU inked by SPJIMR and USC Marshall establishes a collaboration that allows SPJIMR students to take coursework, obtain credit, and potentially graduate from USC Marshall's Master of Science in Global Supply Chain Management programme (MSGSCM).
According to Nick Vyas, Executive Director of the Kendrick Institute and professor of data sciences and operations, the collaboration creates a much broader collaboration between the two institutions, including certificate opportunities, business delegations, and collaborative research for the Randall R. Kendrick Institute of Global Supply Chain Management.
He also expressed his gratitude to a number of colleagues who assisted in making the idea of a collaboration between the two schools a reality, saying, "I must thank Professors Nandini Rajagopalan, Gareth James, Shantanu Dutta, Greys Soic, and Suh-Pyng Ku for their ongoing support and encouragement."
Given the current pandemic crisis, the MoU was signed online in late November via an early-morning Zoom discussion with officials from both schools. The collaboration with SPJIMR is also part of the University of Southern California's larger worldwide agenda.
