SP Jain School of Global Management has reported a 50 percent growth in student enrollment for its Executive MBA programme (EMBA). EMBA is an 18-month part-time programme that is delivered using Engaged Learning Online technology (ELO).
SP Jain School of Global Management (SPJSGM) has credited the rise in enrollment to the success of ELO technology. The students have, on average, over 13 years of work experience and represent a variety of industries such as the automobile industry, the banking sector, engineering, hospitality, IT, and government sectors.

ELO is a sophisticated system that mimics a live classroom accurately. The technology includes high-end features, said the President of SPJSGM, Nitish Jain.
Speaking about the technology, Jain said, “Unlike Zoom, Google Meet or other popular video conferencing software that was mostly designed for office use, the emphasis within ELO is upon ‘student engagement.
“Over 350 EMBA students have experienced this technology since June 2020, and the experience has been fantastic. We are constantly collecting feedback and tweaking our technology to ensure that it is at the forefront of online education.”

The ELO studio is set up using a robotic tracking camera for the faculty, allowing them to move freely while maintaining eye contact with students, and more, in real-time. Faculty and students are able to engage in one-on-one conversations as if they were sitting side-by-side.
ELO also allows the faculty to assess the engagement level of each student, respond to them individually and encourage them. ELO also engages students who would not normally take part in a conventional classroom discussion.
The institute also delivers an onsite EMBA course in Mumbai, Singapore and Dubai. These have also performed well, making SPJSGM one of the leading EMBA providers.
