New Delhi: Shoolini University, Himachal Pradesh has launched its first-ever online degree programs in BBA, BCom (Hons), BA Journalism and Mass Communication and MA English with pay-on-placement options. The courses will start for students from November 15, 2022.
As per Shoolini University, these online courses will offer the option of “pay on placement” option under which candidates will only have to pay 50% of tuition fees at the start of each semester, and the remaining fee will be payable only after the placement.
With Shoolini University Online Courses 2022, the university aims to offer online courses to interested students with a focus on placement. These programs are specially designed to focus on skills that help students in getting high-paying jobs during the placement sessions.
Informing about the courses, the Chancellor of Shoolini University, PK Khosla said, "The online courses will start from November 15 as per the UGC guidelines and students would not need to visit the campus during the programs”.
“We have one of the world’s best audio, video and reading content in English and Hindi, designed specifically for Indian students, keeping in view the four quadrant approach of the UGC” he further explained.
This initiative will offer students an opportunity to learn from top faculty members and industry experts. The courses will also include various internships and projects so that participants will gain industry experience. All courses are offered as per the UGC guidelines.
Ashish Khosla, Director of Yoganananda School of Artificial Intelligence, said, “It is our objective to ensure that the online programs we offer have a clear focus on placements and developing skills and imparting knowledge to help students get quality jobs immediately on placements.”
In addition to this, the university is also preparing to sign Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with leading companies from IT, banking and finance, insurance, retail, media and hospitality sectors for placement opportunities.
