New Delhi: Sharda University recently hosted Chorus 2023, the round of their annual cultural festival. The festival began on March 23, 2023, and ended on March 25, 2023. The theme of the annual cultural event was, "Symphony of Senses," which focused on promoting the depth of the nation's diversity.
The 11th edition of Sharda University’s Chorus commenced with the lighting of the lamps, which was accompanied by a number of dance acts and musical acts. Almost 1.5 lakh students from the Delhi-NCR region were anticipated to attend the 3-day festival.
Numerous students from different universities and colleges in Delhi, including Amity University, Galgotias University, GL Bajaj University, and many others, participated in the festival's opening day.
Artists presented a variety of dance acts and musical performances at the event. Geeta Mahalik, a recipient of the Padma Shri award, gave a performance as well. Ankit Tiwari, an Indian singer, gave a live performance to close out Day 1 of the festival.
Almost 70 nations' worth of attendees, including academic staff and students, were anticipated during the festival. The three-day festival featured more than 50 activities, including discussions, fashion exhibitions, monologues, stand-up comedy shows, rap battles, open-mic performances, etc.
The Sharda School of Engineering and Technology Dean, Parma Nand, stated, "Such events bring individuals from different universities to partake in varied, entertaining contests, with an intention to empower students to demonstrate their talents and abilities, socialize with other people, and gaining a valuable overview of the process."
Director of International Relations at Sharda University, Ashok Daryani, commented on Chorus 2023 by saying, "We are pleased to witness students' passion for this festival. The gathering of participants from different institutions creates a chance for mutual learning between them as well.
