New Delhi Saurashtra University launched an online portal on Monday with an aim to eliminate the need to wait in long queues for payment of academic fees. It was initiated by in-charge SU Vice-Chancellor Prof Girish Bhimani.
The portal was launched a day after a scuffle between students who had lined up in front of the cash window to pay the fee. According to a notice released by Saurashtra University, students will no longer have to use the cash window at the University campus to pay their fees.
Saurashtra University: How to pay the fees
Students can follow the steps below to pay their academic fees using the online payment portal -
Step 1: Students should visit the official payment portal (www.cash.sauuni.ac.in)
Step 2: Enter the enrolment number to log in to the payment portal.
Step 3: Check if the fees are all in order and then click on ‘Pay now’
Step 4: Enter bank details and enter the OTP sent to the registered mobile number
Step 5: After successful payment, the online receipt will be displayed on the screen. Students can take a printout if necessary.
