RGPV Admission 2022 Open for M.Tech & Post Graduate Certificate Courses; Apply till October 04

New Delhi: Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya (RGPV), Bhopal has begun the application process for the M.Tech & Post Graduate Certificate courses for the academic session 2022-23. Aspiring candidates can submit the online application form through the official portal, @www.rgpv.ac.in, by October 04, 2022. 

RGPV, Bhopal offers a 2-year M.Tech programme in Biomolecular Engineering and Biotechnology and a one-year postgraduate certificate programme in Medical Biotechnology. Candidates seeking admission to the programme can submit their applications till October 04, 2022. 

Candidates seeking admissions into the M.Tech programme in Biomolecular Engineering and Biotechnology are required to have a B.Tech in specific specialisations with a valid GATE score.

The institute has planned to intake a total of 18 students (As per the AICTE, New Delhi norms) for the M.Tech programme, whereas 10 students will be admitted to the PG certificate programme in Medical Biotechnology. 

RGPV M.Tech & Postgraduate Certificate Admission 2022: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates willing to take admissions to the M.Tech programme and PG certificate programme must meet the requisite eligibility criteria. 

Eligibility Criteria for M.Tech: 

• Candidate's pursing BE/B.Tech or equivalent examination approved by AICTE in Biotechnology, Food Technology, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Bioinformatics, Nanotechnology, Information Technology, Computer Science, B.Pharm & M.Sc. in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Bioinformatics, Veterinary Sciences, Agricultural Sciences, Life Sciences with at least 55% marks in the aggregate are eligible for admission to the M.Tech programme. 

• The reservation will be applicable for SC/ST/OBC candidates of Madhya Pradesh as per the Government of M. P. rules.

Eligibility Criteria for PG Certificate Programme: 

• Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc./B.Tech)/Master of Science (M.Sc./ M.Tech) degree with 55% marks in the aggregate in any branch of life Sciences or B.Pharm/BE/B.Tech Biotechnology, Food Technology, Biomedical Engineering. 
• MBBS/B.V.Sc/BDS/DMLT or equivalent examination approved by AICTE / UGC/ Medical Council of India. 
• The reservation will be applicable for SC/ST/OBC candidates of Madhya Pradesh as per the Government of M.P. Rules.

RGPV M.Tech & Postgraduate Certificate Admission 2022: Selection Process

Selection criteria for M.Tech and PG certificate programmes are mentioned below. 

Selection Process for M.Tech: 

• Candidates' selection to the M.Tech programme will be on the basis of the GATE score and merit of the eligible degree for the Non-GATE students. The reservation policy as stipulated by the Government of Madhya Pradesh. 

Selection Process for Postgraduate Certificate Course: 

• Candidates' selection to the PG certificate programme will be based on the basis of merit of their eligible degree and the reservation policy as stipulated by the Government of Madhya Pradesh.

RGPV M.Tech & Postgraduate Certificate Admission 2022]: How to Apply?

Step 1: Visit the official application portal of RGPV portal @www.rgpv.ac.in.

Step 2: Register yourself after filling the required details, such as Mobile number, Email Id etc.

Step 3: Now, login with your registration credentials and fill all details in the Application form.

Step 4: Pay the application fee and submit the Application form. 

Step 5: Applicants must also take a print out of the form for all future needs.
