Plea Challenges the Fairness of KLEE 2020; Petition Filed at Kerala HC

A petition has been filed in the Kerala High Court, questioning the fairness of the Kerala Law Entrance Examination (KLEE). The petitioners alleged that there were large scale malpractices followed in the examination.

KLEE 2020 petition

The KLEE 2020 was held on June 20 and June 22, 2020. The petitioners have requested Kerala HC to declare that the entrance exam was conducted in an arbitrary manner and the authorities lapsed on their part which led to saintliness.

Despite this, the petitioners also want to reconduct the KLEE 2020 in a fair manner and have requested the HC to issue directions to withhold the declaration of KLEE result until the disposal of the petition.

Advocate V. Manu submitted the response before Justice Anu Sivaraman, on July 23, 2020.

KLEE is conducted by the Commissioner of Entrance Examination Kerala (CEE Kerala), for admission in 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB programs. There are some private law colleges that also accept the KLEE scores for admission.

KLEE 2020 was conducted under strict safety regulations and the authorities have also released the provisional answer key, while the final answer key is yet to be released.
