New Delhi: Periyar University is inviting applications for admission to its Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program offered by its various departments for the January session 2023-24. The last date to apply is January 27, 2023.

Periyar University offers its PhD programs in Arts, Sciences, Fine Arts, Languages, Commerce, Education and Management department. Interested candidates can apply for the full-time PhD program admissions at their through the official portal at periyaruniversity.ac.in

To apply for a PhD Program under Periyar University Admission 2023, aspirants are required to have a PG degree in the relevant discipline with a minimum 55% score from a UGC-recognised board. A 5% relaxation is offered to the SC/ ST/ OBC/ PwD candidates. 

Applicants are selected on the basis of their individual performance in the entrance exam followed by the Personal Interview Round. A minimum of 50% score in the entrance exam is required to be eligible.

Candidates with UGC-NET/ UGC-CSIR (NET)/ SET/ GATE/ DST Inspire/ Teacher Fellowship holder/ MPhil score are exempted from the exam and can directly appear for the interview round.
