New Delhi: Parul University is the youngest private institution to obtain an A+ from the NAAC in its maiden evaluation cycle and is located in Vadodara. The end of Parul University's certification path, recognized by a final three-day visit by the NAAC peer team, resulted in a recent A+ rating from the National Accreditation and Assessment Council.

Parul University was awarded the highest possible grade with a cumulative GPA (CGPA) of 3.55 after completing the necessary criteria and conditions for evaluation. Since its founding in April 2015, Parul University has steadily advanced higher education, leaving enduring and prominent marks on Gujarat and India's higher education landscape.

This has been accomplished via research, industry-centrism, innovation, internationalization, healthcare, and community development initiatives. The University has fostered and established academic policies, distinguishable and best practices through its distinguishing characteristics.

It includes constructing a multiple disciplines campus, a rigorous student support network, an ecosystem for building business owners, gender inclusivity, efficient and environmental surroundings, a rigorous research policy, and providing comprehensive health and healthcare for all.

The evaluation gathered national and international input from the business recruiter, current students, parents, and graduates via meaningful interaction with the NAAC Peer Team. It constituted a large portion of the total score.

Dr. Devanshu Patel, President of Parul University, said, "This review, based on the quantitative and qualitative metrics of the University, takes into consideration the initiatives, policies, and milestones attained from our founding year.

As a University, we have experienced a significant growth and development trajectory, from our digital transformation and IT power grid to our 180 start-ups and innovation centers across the city and campus. This certification affirms our continuous dedication to providing decent education, and it is a proud moment for us."

The NAAC evaluation centered on critical parameters such as the University's curriculum design and development processes, instructional innovations, student-teacher profiles, promotional study regulations, innovation, extension initiatives, institutional structure, health services, gender equity, and environmental awareness, among others.

The Vice Chancellor of the University, Dr. Amit Ganatra, said, "This accomplishment is certainly an important milestone in the University's path towards providing the highest quality educational qualifications, and we will continue to promote our practices and policies in sustaining this level."

Also, he said, "This accrediting would not have been feasible even without the combined efforts of our students, faculty, administration, parents, and alumni."

Its unique research policies for EMR and IMR funding, perverse incentives, consultancy initiatives, and collaborative projects with State, National, and Global funding agencies such as the Indian Council for Medical Research (ICMR), NHRC, AICTE, as well as Royal Academy of Engineering, EU, among others, are also indicative of the University's progress.

In addition, the University has provided a significant boost to the national and state innovation ecosystem via its start-ups, on-campus and town incubation centers, and innovative facilities such as its one-of-a-kind fabrication laboratory.

With its internationalization initiatives, Parul University has achieved remarkable advances in its faculty and pupil mobility programs, with 58 worldwide collaborations and 68 nationalities of students.

To expand the breadth of healthcare via holistic care, the University's seven NABH medical centers have been efficiently meeting the healthcare requirements of the community while serving as clinical training platforms.

Dr. Geetika Patel, the University's Vice President, Quality, Research, and Health Sciences, said that we have been focusing our efforts on providing the highest level of enrichment to our students while simultaneously ensuring the capacity development of our instructors through separate academic establishments, such as our skills and modeling center.

He stated, Pragya, our manufacturing laboratory, DISR-recognised scientific and technological center, NABL-accredited clinical medical lab, and Industry-linked excellence centers, among many other resources. This A++ certification is a testament to the combined efforts to provide the finest education.
