NIRF Ranking 2021 has been released today, September 9, 2021 by the Union Education Minister Mr. Dharmendra Pradhan. The release saw Jamia Hamdard, Panjab University and BITS Pilani receiving top three positions in the pharmacy colleges category.
NIRF Ranking 2021 has been released today, September 9, 2021 by the Union Education Minister Mr. Dharmendra Pradhan. The release saw Jamia Hamdard, Panjab University and BITS Pilani receiving top three positions in the pharmacy colleges category.
This year due to the existing COVID 19 pandemic situation, NIRF Ranking 2021 was published online through live webcast for 11 categories. Around 6000 colleges participated in the HRD Ministry, Government of India approved ranking system.
In the Pharmacy category, a ranking list with scores has been released for Pharmacy colleges in India for top 75 positions similar to previous year. Parameters like Teaching, Learning & Resources, Research, Professional Practice & Collaborative Performance, Graduation Outcomes, Perception, Outreach, etc were considered for evaluation and rankings were done accordingly.

NIRF Ranking 2021 vs 2020
This year, as per the trends among pharmacy colleges, Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi secured the first position with a score of 78.52. Panjab University secured the second position with 77.99 score and Birla institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, got the third rank with 75.57 score.
NIPER Mohali and ICT Mumbai received fourth and fifth rank respectively.
Thus, Jamia Hamdard and Panjab University have retained the top 2 positions in the NIRF Ranking 2020. BITS Pilani has made a significant jump to the third rank from sixth position. However, scores obtained by the top 3 rank holders have reduced, which ranged between 80.4 to 74.73 last year.
Also, JSS College of Pharmacy, Ooty has moved up to 7th rank while JSS College of Pharmacy, Mysore to 9th rank since the past year.
NIRF Ranking 2021 is released for categories such as Medical, Dental, Pharmacy, Engineering, Management, Architecture, Law, University, Overall, Research etc. The complete list of rankings is now available on the official website of NIRF, nirfindia.org.
