As per the latest updates, NIMCET 2020 result will be declared on November 12, 2020. The result was earlier scheduled to be released on November 6, 2020, following which NIMCET 2020 Counselling would be held.
Earlier NIT Raipur had scheduled the NIMCET 2020 result release on November 06, 2020. Candidates who qualify the exam as per rank allotment criteria of NIMCET 2020 can download the NIMCET 2020 rank card.

NIMCET is conducted to admit candidates into the MCA program of the 10 NITs which includes: NIT Agartala, MNNIT Allahabad, MANIT Bhopal, NIT Calicut, NIT Jamshedpur, NIT Kurukshetra, NIT Raipur, NITK Surathkal, NIT Tiruchirappalli, and NIT Warangal.
NIMCET 2020 Result: Qualifying Criteria to get Rank
Candidates are provided rank on the basis of the total weighted score in Mathematics, Analytical Ability and Logical reasoning, Computer awareness, English combined. The total weighted score is out of 1000.
Further, candidates who score 0 or negative marks in mathematics or in the total score of NIMCET will not be allotted rank and will be disqualified.
Tie Breaker
If two or more candidates get the same weighted score, then the resolution of the tie is as per the following factors.
- Candidate with higher weighted marks in Mathematics gets better rank.
- If the tie remains, then the candidate with more weighted marks in Analytical Ability and Logical Reasoning gets a better rank.
- Despite this, if the tie remains then the candidate with more weighted marks in computer awareness gets a higher rank.
- Lastly, if the tie still remains, the older candidate gets a better rank
