New Delhi: National Institute of Information Technology (NIIT) has announced scholarships and fee exemptions for university students for the academic session 2023-2024. Interested candidates can apply for NIIT scholarships on the official website at niituniversity.in.
As per NIIT University, scholarships are available for students who are pursuing BBA, MBA, and BTech programs in Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Data Science, Cyber Security, Biotechnology and Integrated MSc in CS from the university.
The annual scholarships offered to students will range between INR 50,000 to INR 2,00,000/-. Candidates must note that the scholarship will be offered on the tuition fee only and applicants will be selected based on merit.
In addition to this, the university offers a special scholarship, which is awarded to candidates with exceptional merit and top academic performance in the country. This initiative offers a complete tuition waiver to students for each program.
NIIT CoX Scholarships are available to candidates who have an excellent record in any extracurricular activity including sports, music, the fine arts, theatre, dance, or volunteer work at the school board, state, national or international levels.
Candidates receive scholarships based on their achievement in national entrance exams or on their grades in Class 10 and Class 12. If a student is capable of keeping a required minimum CGPA of 6.0, the scholarships will be effective for the full duration of their course.
Informing about the scholarship program, the official website reads, "At NU, education always comes first. So, we are committed to extending financial aid to students who have consistently proven their academic merit”.
