New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will soon be releasing the NEET UG 2023 registration schedule. NTA Chief, Vineet Joshi has declared that the registration process for the same is likely to begin by the end of February. Interested candidates can apply through its official website i.e., neet.nta.nic.in.
After the release of NEET UG 2023 application form, candidates can apply for the NEET UG exam by submitting their applications before the given deadline.
As of now, NTA has announced that the NEET UG Entrance Exam 2023 will be held on May 7, 2023. The authority of exam will conduct the exam early this year to adjust the academic calendar.

NEET UG 2023: Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility and selection criteria for NEET UG 2023 have been listed below for reference:
- The applicants must have attained the age of 17 years as on date of notification.
- The candidates must have passed the 10+2 with Science stream with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as major subjects.
- Candidates must have scored a minimum of 45% marks in 10+2 examinations.
- Candidates should know that the upper age limit cap has been removed by NTA and now all the applicants above 17 Years are eligible to apply.
- OCI or NRI Card holders can also apply for NEET UG 2023 Exam.
NEET UG 2023: How to Apply?
Applicants have to first register or log in to the portal. Applicants will be required to enter a valid email ID, mobile number for registration. The step by step procedure for registration is stated below:

Step 1: Visit the official website of NEET (nta neet.nic.in).
Step 2: Click on the “New Candidate Registration” button.
Step 3: Enter the details required such as mobile number, email id, address etc.
Step 4: Create a password of your choice.
Step 5: Click on the “Submit” button to complete the registration process.
After the completion of registration, applicants will receive an email on their registered email ID or a message on their mobile related to their successful registration. Applicants must keep that email and message safe till the completion of the NEET UG examination.
