MUHS Exam Controller Ajit Pathak informed medical colleges that the exams which were scheduled for August 4, 2020 has been postponed until further notice.
Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS) has agreed to delay the MBBS summer 2020 final year until further orders.
Earlier, the varsity had postponed UG exams for other streams.
MUHS Exam Controller Ajit Pathak informed medical colleges about the exams scheduled for August 4, 2020.
University officials said that the exams have been cancelled due to the ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic situation.
Due to the rise in cases, lockdowns are being re-established in several districts.
State medical education minister Amit Deshmukh had advised the varsity to postpone the UG exams.

MUHS reported that 641 students registered to attend the exams. Had they appeared and passed, they would have taken up an internship in government and civic hospitals in the state, which would have increased doctors treating Covid-19 patients.
The university agreed to perform postgraduate medical exams as of August 17, 2020 officials said.
