New Delhi: Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda (MSU Baroda) has begun the application process for the undergraduate and postgraduate level degree courses for the academic year 2022-24. Aspiring candidates can submit the online application form through the official portal, @msubaroda.ac.in.

MSU Baroda offers a gamut of UG and PG Courses in various specialisations including in arts, fine arts, science, education, commerce, law, etc. Candidates seeking admission to these programmes can submit their applications till June 30, 2022. 

Candidate's admission to the UG and PG Courses are based on merit and scores obtained in the entrance exam conducted by the university. The university has planned to tentatively conduct the entrance test on July 30, 2022.

Candidates seeking admissions into the UG and PG Courses will have to satisfy the eligibility requirements mentioned below. 

MSU Baroda UG & PG Admission 2022: Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates must have at least scored 40% aggregate in class 12th exam, or equivalent from a recognized board with relevant subjects.
  • Sports Quota Admission Registered Students will have to pass the Trial Test.
  • Candidates have to appear and qualify the MSU Entrance Exam 2022 to obtain admission from the university.

Eligibility Criteria for B.E: 

  • Candidates must have obtained 45% aggregate in class 12th exam, or equivalent from a recognized board with relevant subjects. 

Eligibility Criteria for PG Courses: 

  • Candidates' must possess an undergraduate degree with 50% aggregate in the relevant subjects from a recognised institute.

Eligibility Criteria for M.Tech:

  • Candidates must have scored at least 50% aggregate in the Undergraduate exam, or equivalent from a recognized university with relevant subjects for reserved categories. 

MSU Baroda UG & PG Admission 2022: Selection Process

  • Candidate's selection to the UG courses will be purely merit based on the aggregate scored in the class 12th examinations. A series of merit lists are released by the college on the basis of aggregate obtained in 10+2 level.
  • Candidate's selection to the B.E is based on the results of the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET)
  • Candidate's selection to the MTech program is purely entrance based on the aggregate score in GATE. Sometimes, it is followed by a personal interview round performed by the relevant department. 
  • Candidate's selection to the PG courses is merit based on the aggregate score of graduation and performance in the entrance examination by the university.

Step 1: Visit the official application portal of MSU Baroda @msubaroda.ac.in. 

Step 2: Register yourself after filling the required details, such as Mobile number, Email Id etc.

Step 3: Now, login with your registration credentials and fill all details in the Application form.

Step 4: Pay the application fee of INR 300 (UG) & INR 600 (PG) and submit the Application form. 

Step 5: Applicants must also take a print out of the form for all future needs.
