Directorate of Higher Education, Maharashtra has released the MH CET Law 2020 Counselling Schedule for 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB courses have been released soon. Get more detailed information here.
MH CET 2020 Law counselling for 5-year LLB will begin on 14 December and will run until 19 February. Details of the counselling schedule will be released shortly. The counselling process, commonly known as the Centralized Admission Process (CAP), will be conducted online and will have approximately three rounds.
Counselling for 3-Years LLB course began on December 11 and will continue till February 24, 2020. Following which, provisional merit list will be out on December 22 and final list on January 1, 2021.
The admissions authority has released separate counselling schedules for the two programmes: 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB. Applicants who qualify for the state-level MH CET Law 2020 will be eligible to participate in the counselling process.
During the CAP, eligible candidates will have to take part in the selection of filling and locking. Seat allocation will be based on both the candidate's merit rank and the choice of admission. Post-seat allocation, MH CET law applicants must check their documents at the Admission Reporting Center (ARC) and pay a seat acceptance fee before finally reporting to the designated institution.

MH CET Law 2020 Counselling Highlights

The counselling process is known as the Centralized Admission Process (CAP).

The counselling will be conducted in online mode.

Candidates whose names are declared in MH CET Law 2020 Results candidates are eligible to participate in the counselling process.

The merit rank of the candidate will be used for seat allotment, along with choices opted for admission.

Post seat allotment, the candidate may freeze the allotted seat or opt for betterment (but only if the allotted seat is not the first preference seat).

Allotted candidates need to get their documents verified and pay acceptance fee.

The allotment of seat will be conducted under two heads: 1) Maharashtra State Candidature Type (MS), and 2) All India Candidature Type (OMS)

The result of MH CET law 2020 for the 5-year program will be declared around August.
MH CET Law 2020 Counselling Procedure

Issue of merit numbers: Candidates who have qualified in MH CET Law 2020 will be issued merit numbers. Admission officials will prepare the MH CET law merit list 2020 using CET scores

Choice filling: Such candidates have to next participate in the choice filling, wherein they have to exercise their preference of institutions before the start of CAP Round-I and CAP Round-III. The options have to be entered in the order of priority, with the first preferred option at the top.

The options filled before CAP Round I will be used for seat allotment in the CAP Round-I and II.

For seat allotment in CAP Round III, options confirmed prior to CAP Round III will be considered.

Seat allotment: The allotment of seats for each CAP Round will be based on the merit rank of the candidate and choices entered by the candidate.

Document verification: The candidate has to next accept the allotted seat and pay the acceptance fee by reporting at Admission Reporting Centre (ARC) through candidate log-in.

Reporting at allotted institute: Such candidates who have been allotted seats need to report at the allotted institute within the given deadline and complete admission formalities
