MET 2020 Remote Proctored Test, Check Exam Day Guidelines


The Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) will conduct  MET 2020  exam from August 1 to August 12, 2020, as Remote Proctored Test. The decision has been made due to the prevailing situation of COVID-19. Now the candidates can safely appear for the test at their home by using a Laptop/Computer.

Earlier the authorities had postponed the exam due to COVID-19 Outbreak. However, the institute has issued a detailed advisory to all registered candidates to be strictly followed by them while appearing for the exam. Check  MET 2020 Exam Pattern

MET Online Proctored Test: Specifications

  • Personal Laptop/Computer in good condition

  • Operating System (OS)- Windows 7 and above

  • Processor- Minimum 2 Crores

  • RAM- 2GB or Above

  • Screen Resolution- 1024 x 768 and above

  •  Web Browser- Google Chrome (Latest Version)

  • Microphone- Any Model (External or Internal)

  • Web Camera - Resolution - 640 x 480, 15 frames per second (fps)

  • Network Bandwidth- 512 kps minimum

MET 2020: Exam Day Guidelines

  • The Candidates must take the test at a peaceful place, and there should not be anyone else in the room apart from the candidate.

  • The Webcam must be installed strictly in front of the system, preferably on the top of the monitor. Any other forms of camera installation are not permitted and will be liable for necessary actions. 

  • The Candidate’s face should be in the center of the webcam’s field throughout the duration of the test.

  • It is Prohibited to leave the workplace during the exam and result in termination of the examination.

  • Hair, Clothing, Hands or anything else should not cover the face area at any point in time, throughout the examination.

  • Sunglasses not to be worn during the test. Only transparent and non-reflecting glasses are allowed.

  • Do not use unfair means during the examination like mobile phones, other app support, using Google, etc. It may result in disqualification.
