Madhya Pradesh: CM asks University Officials to Decide & Inform About Final Year Exam Procedure in 2 Days


Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has stated that the decision not to hold university examinations for the first and second year of graduation and the first year of state graduation has been taken in the past.

Admission will be granted in the final year/semester on the basis of the marks obtained in the previous examinations.

The final year/semester review will be conducted in accordance with the new UGC guidelines.

The final year of the online examination will be conducted at Technical Education Colleges.

As far as the offline examination in all colleges is concerned, the procedure should be decided and informed within 2 days, he added.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan held a meeting in Mantralaya on the subject of university examinations in the light of the new UGC guidelines.

Minister of Higher Education Dr. Mohan Yadav, Minister of Technical Education Smt. Yashodhara Raje Scindia, Chief Secretary Shri Iqbal Singh Bains, Senior Secretary of Higher Education Shri Anupam Rajan, Senior Secretary of Technical Education.

The meeting was attended by Smt. Caralyn Khongwar, Vice-Chancellor of R.G.P.V. and other officers concerned.

Final year examinations to be carried out by September 30, 2020.

Minister of Technical Education, Smt. Yashodhara Raje Scindia has informed that technical education colleges will have online-based examinations.

RGPV University also conducted an online examination earlier. RGPV Vice-Chancellor said that four question papers are to be published in the final year of technical education.

Approximately 35,000 students will be taking the final year of the university exam.

Procedure will be decided in 10 days ' time.

Higher Education Minister Shri Mohan Yadav said there are about six lakh students in-state colleges.

The procedure for the cancellation of the offline examination is decided. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that due to the Corona crisis, the examination should be carried out in such a way that there is no risk of Corona infection spreading. The procedure should be decided and presented in two days ' time.

The decision on this will be taken accordingly.
