Joint Seat Allocation Authority has announced the commencement for registration date as October 6, 2020. Eligible students can now register for JoSAA 2020 from the official website.The authorities have also informed the last date of registration as 15th October, 2020.
Students have to first clear the JEE Main 2020 exam and then JEE Advanced 2020 to be eligible for the seat allocation under JoSAA 2020.
For registering in JoSAA 2020, candidates will have to use the JEE Advanced main registration number and password. The choice filling section will be provided to the students in the portal. On the basis of this, the authorities will allot the seat for JoSAA 2020 Counselling. Candidates will not be required to pay any additional fee for the JoSAA 2020 registration.
JoSAA 2020 Registration process is mandatory for all the eligible candidates in order to take admissions. The process requires basic information of the candidate, such as gender, stat code, nationality and contact details. Once the seat is allotted, the candidates are required to pay seat acceptance fees either via online or offline.On the basis of this the authority will assign the seat for JoSAA 2020 Counselling.
To enter the JEE Main and JEE Advanced portal, the candidates will have to input the registered email and phone number respectively. Following which the candidates need to fill in the basic details and fill their choices.

JoSAA 2020 seat allocation Authority has been set up by the Ministry of Education to manage the admissions in 111 institutes for the 2020-21 session. These institutes include all the IIT, NIT, IIEST Shibpur, and other government-funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs).
