New Delhi: JNU is accepting applications for its M.Sc programme for the academic session 2022-23. Aspiring candidates can submit the online application form through the official portal, jnu.ac.in. The last date to apply is June 27, 2022.

JNU offers two-year M.Sc programmes in various specialisations that includes Biotechnology, Computational, and Integrative Sciences. The total intake of students for the current session is 60.

JNU MSc Admission 2022: Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility Criteria for M.Sc in Biotechnology:
- Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree under 10+2+3 pattern of education in Physical, Biological (Biochemistry/ Bioinformatics/ Biotechnology/ Botany/ Microbiology/Zoology), Agricultural, Veterinary and Fishery Sciences, Pharmacy, Engineering/Technology, 4-year B.Sc. (Physician Assistant Course); MBBS/ B.D.S with at least 55% marks.
Eligibility Criteria for M.Sc in Computational and Integrative Sciences:
- Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in any branch of Basic and Applied Science or Technology, with a minimum of 55% marks.
The admissions will be held under the following two tracks.
Track 1: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Engineering/ Computer Sciences or related allied areas.
Track 2: Bachelor’s degree in Medicine, Biological/Life Sciences or related allied areas.
Candidates must check the eligibility criteria for each track before applying. Candidates can apply only for one of the two tracks. In case seats within a track remain vacant, the admission committee may fill the vacant seats from the other track.
JNU M.Sc Admission 2022: Selection Process
- Candidates desirous of seeking admission in the M.Sc must have appeared in the Graduate Aptitude Test-Biotechnology (GAT-B).
- Each candidate applying for admission in these programmes must submit their GAT-B Registration Number, GAT-B Score and rank.
- JNU will use the GAT-B score for admission to these programmes based on the category-wise merit list of candidates qualified through GAT-B-2022.
- The university will prepare the category-wise merit list based on the score in GAT-B 2022 against the available seats in each category.
JNU M.Sc Admission 2022: How to Apply?
- Step 1: Visit the official application portal of JNU @www.jnu.ac.in
- Step 2: Register yourself after filling the required details, such as Mobile number, Email Id etc.
- Step 3: Now, login with your registration credentials and fill all details in the Application form.
- Step 4: Pay the application fee of INR 100 and submit the Application form.
- Step 5: Applicants must also take a print out of the form for all future needs.
Candidates who will be selected for the MSc courses will have to pay INR 1100 (General) and INR 500 (SC/ST) as the additional processing fees at the time of seat blocking.
