JNU CEEB 2020: GAT-B Result to be Announced by October End; Check Details Here


According to the Regional Centre for Biotechnology(RCB), the results of GAT-B will be released within this month. The tentative period mentioned is the last week of this month, however, the exact dates of the results have not been revealed. 

RCB conducts the GAT-B (Graduate Aptitude Test-Biotechnology) which is also known as  JNU-CEEB examination on behalf of Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi. This year, GAT-B was conducted on 3rd October 2020 and the answer key was released on October 5.

The results will also be uploaded on the official website from where the students can check and download the scorecard. 

Candidates will be provided with GAT-B results by RCB with which they can apply for various DBT (Dept. of Biotechnology)  courses in the participating institutions.

Clearing of this examination makes the candidates eligible for admissions in 24 colleges that accept the GAT-B scores. One of these institutions is JNU. 

Admissions in these institutions will take place according to the individual admission processes of the college which may vary for every participating institution. However, there will be no involvement of RCB /DBT in the admission process. 

RCB has also closed down the objection window that allowed the students to raise objections against the answer keys released by JNU-CEEB. 

Entrance examinations for other courses in JNU take place through the entrance test JNUEE that is conducted by NTA on behalf of JNU. These exams also took place from 5th October to 8th October.

GAT-B Result 2020: How to Check? 

  • The candidate must visit the website of the Regional Centre of Biotechnology. 
  • From the page, the candidate must select GAT-B 
  • Click on ‘View GAT-B results’
  • The candidate will have to enter the login credentials to check the result 
  • View and download the score-card for future references.
