ISI 2020: Seat Allotment
Applicants who get named in the merit list are allocated provisional seats in their programme or put on the official waitlist. After an applicant is allotted provisional seats, they are given a couple of days to fill their options.
Applicants should keep the following points in mind when either acce[ting or ejecting the seats allotted.
- If the applicant chooses to accept the allotted seat, he will have to deposit the seat acceptance fee which is refundable should the candidate change his mind in the future
- If someone is put on the waitlist, then this means that they’ll be allotted the seat should a vacancy arise due to rejection or anything else. In such a case, the applicant will also need to pay an accep[tance fee before accepting the allotted seat
- An applicant who does not fill the options in the window given to him would be considered to have withdrawn his candidature
- An applicant who declines the provisional seat offer will be unable to take part in further rounds of admission
- While accepting the seat or waitlist offer, the candidate will have to complete the registration formalities to confirm his choices
