New Delhi: Indian School of Business (ISB) has successfully concluded its placement drive for the Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP) Class of 2023, where a total of 1500 offers were made to the PGP students.
The ISB statement revealed that a total of 222 recruiting companies took part in the placement drive, who made roughly 1578 offers for the PGP class of 2023. Nearly 73 percent of those hired were able to change roles, and 79 percent relocated to a different industry, taking significant steps toward establishing the jobs of their choice.
ISB Placements 2023: Highlights
The Companies that offer leadership/general management opportunities in various functions made up more than 14% of the total offers during the ISB Placements 2023.
This year, 30 new recruiters visited the management institutes. Up to 36% of the PGP Class of 2023 are female candidates, which is among the greatest percentages in prestigious business schools in this region. Nearly 40% of the total number of job offers were made to the female students of PGP.
Some of the top industries in terms of offers were Consulting, IT/ITES/Technology, BFSI, and FMCG/retail. The leading functions where the PGP students were hired was consulting, product management, sales and marketing, and general management/leadership programmes.
Further, the International job offers also recorded a sign of recovery post the pandemic with 36 international offers being made this year.
