INST Mohali PhD Admission 2023 Open; Last Date to Apply is October 27

New Delhi: Institute of Nano Science and Technology (INST), Mohali, has begun the application process for the PhD programme for the academic session of January 2023. Aspiring candidates can submit the online application form through the official portal, @inst.ac.in. 

INST Mohali offers PhD programmes in several areas of nanoscience and nanotechnology. Candidates seeking admission to the PhD programme can submit their applications till October 27, 2022. 

Admission to the PhD programme will be done based on the entrance exam scores followed by the candidate's performance in the interview process.

INST PhD Admission 2023: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates seeking admission to the PhD programme will have to fulfill the requisite eligibility criteria. 

• Candidates must hold a M. Sc. or M. Pharm. or M. Tech. Degree in Basic or Applied Sciences, Engineering or related areas. 
• Students who have appeared for the final year/semester examinations are also eligible, provided that the degree will be granted by the time of joining.
•  Candidates must have qualified at least one national examination out of GATE, CSIR/UGC-NET, JEST, JGEEBILS (TIFR/ NCBS), ICMR-JRF, DBT-JRF, DST-INSPIRE or GPAT.
• Age limit: As per the guidelines of CSIR-UGC and DST.

INST PhD Admission 2023: Selection Process

• All the eligible candidates will be shortlisted for interview and the date and mode of interview will be communicated to the email address provided by the candidate. 
• The list of shortlisted candidates will also be uploaded on INST website.
•  Ph. D. interviews will be conducted in person and the candidates called for the interview will not be paid any TA/DA.
• After the interview, the list of candidates selected for Ph. D. will be uploaded on INST website and the candidates will be intimated by email.
• Selection of students shall be done as per the provisions of The Central Educational Institutions (Reservation in Admission) Act, 2006 and amendments made thereto. 

INST PhD Admission 2023: How to Apply?

Step 1: Visit the official application portal of INST @https://inst.ac.in/

Step 2: Register yourself after filling the required details, such as Mobile number, Email Id etc.

Step 3: Now, login with your registration credentials and fill all details in the Application form.

Step 4: Pay the application fee and submit the Application form. 

Step 5: Applicants must also take a print out of the form for all future needs.
