New Delhi: IIT Palakkad has started its admission process for MS and Ph.D. courses. Students interested in applying for any of these courses can apply before April 30, 2022.
IIT Palakkad is accepting applications from highly motivated and research-oriented students for admission 2022 to its MS and Ph.D. programs.
For admission to MS course, candidates will be selected on the basis of their academic record and GATE scores. PhD Candidates on the other hand will have to sit for a written test organised my the university.

IIT Palakkad MS and PhD Admission 2022: Eligibility Criteria
Students interested in taking admission in IIT Palakkad, MS or Ph.D. programs have to meet certain eligibility criteria:
- For taking admission in the MS program, students must have done a B.Tech/ BE degree or Master Degree in Science or AMIE.
- For taking admission in a Ph.D. program in any of the specializations, students have a master’s degree in relevant disciplines.

IIT Palakkad MS and PhD Admission 2022: Selection Criteria
For MS and PhD programmes in IIT Palakkad, students are selected on the basis of following criteria:
- For admission in the MS program students are shortlisted on the basis of their marks scored in the GATE exam.
- The shortlisted students are then called for a written test conducted by IIT Palakkad followed by an interview of the students who cleared the written test.
- For admission to Ph.D. programs students are selected on the basis of their written test conducted by the institution. However, students should have appeared in the GATE/CSIR NET/ UGC NET and scored the desired marks.
- The selected students are then called for an interview.
- Final students are selected on the basis of their performance in the written exam, GATE exam, and interview.

Students who want to apply to IIT Palakkad for MS and Ph.D. may follow the below-given points to apply:
Step 1- Visit the official website of the institution.
Step 2- Register yourself on the portal.
Step 3- After registration, login through your User ID and password.
Step 4- Select the option ‘Program’.
Step 5- Choose the program of your choice MS or Ph.D.
Step 6- Click on apply.
Step 7- Enter all the asked details in the application form.
Step 8- Attach the asked documents with the form.
Step 9- Submit the application form and pay the application fee.
