IIT Madras Hosts Annual Business Festival ‘Samanvay 2022’

New Delhi: IIT Madras' department of management studies has hosted the annual business festival, ‘Samanvay 2022’ under the theme, ‘Revolutionizing Management with AI: The Resurgence, The Reality, The Revolution’.

Over 3,000 individuals from different colleges and business schools across the country registered for the annual business festival organized by IIT Madras.

According to the official release from IIT Madras, "Samanvay represents a confluence of thoughts and ideas, integration of information and abilities, and synthesis of intellectual ability and brilliance,"

In order to effectively serve all stakeholders, this edition of the business festival focused on combining data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence with current management paradigms.

The event started on October 30, 2022, with a marathon, and continued with competitive competitions from November 4 to November 6, 2022.

Participating in the inaugural ceremony was Prof. V Kamakoti, director of IIT Madras. After the inauguration, campus-wide saplings were planted as part of "PlantIIT," a social responsibility project designed to raise awareness of the value of a healthy environment.

Industry experts and lecturers from a variety of fields, including finance technology, artificial intelligence, operations, analytics, and entertainment management, were present at Samanvay 2022.

Panel Discussions, Lecture Series held in Hybrid Mode

The events included lecture series, fireside chat and panel discussions on current and emerging domains in management studies, educational workshops for skill development. Panel discussions and lecture series were organised in a hybrid mode, on various domains of management such as operations, data analytics, and marketing.

Moreover, hybrid panel discussions and lecture series on different management topics, including operations, data analytics, and marketing, were also organized during the business festival.
