New Delhi: IIT Kanpur along with the scientists of Denmark will be conducting research in the field of Biomedical waste.
As per the latest updates, the research is progressing fast in the field of biomedical in Denmark and also with IIT scientists. The Director of IIT Kanpur, Prof. Abhay Karandikar in an event in Delhi discussed with the Danish Ambassador, Freddy Savane about the information obtained in the ongoing research.
The research is being conducted to know about the adverse effects of medicines and medical devices used on the patients and how they can prevent these negative effects.
IIT scientists are also moving fast in both fields whether it’s engineering or medicine. Like in this ongoing research in the field of biomedicals, the researchers are working towards the making of essential tools for the operation procedures and also minimising the adverse effects of medicines.
The research being conducted will erase the negative impact of the equipment used during operation procedures and medicine which will help the doctors in giving best treatments to their patients.
In other news, IIT Kanpur Centre of Excellence has recently incubated Lucknow-based Future Crime Research Foundation. FCRF has previously developed India's first search engine for nodal officials and police station numbers across the country.
The search engine, so developed, intends to make investigative and policing processes more efficient. It will combine data from all major stakeholders to build a search engine that will aid in predictive policing, crime mapping, and analysis, in addition to other services.
Meanwhile, IIT Kanpur Admission 2022 will begin on March 22, 2022 at 12 noon for PG, PhD programmes for July 2022 semester.
