New Delhi: Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT) Delhi has extended the last date for admission to its six-month-long Certificate Program in Machine Learning and Deep Learning for the coming academic session of 2022-23. Interested candidates can now apply for admission by October 29, 2022.
As per IIT Delhi, the course is specially designed for students who have completed their graduation in science and engineering streams and wish to learn about the latest trends and various courses in machine learning and deep learning streams.
In addition to this, the professionals from IT industry who wish to upgrade their skills in Machine Learning and Deep Learning field can join the IIT Delhi Certificate Course and make their careers in fields like data scientists, data engineers, machine learning engineers, etc.
The course curriculum will include various aspects of Python programming which includes developing skills to process data from online and offline databases. Furthermore, participants will develop a good understanding and learn the fundamental aspects of machine learning.
The course will also include sessions on data, model selection, model complexity, etc, and help participants understand the strengths and weaknesses of popular ML approaches, able to design and train their own neural networks using Keras and TensorFlow modules, etc.
To apply for the certificate program under IIT Delhi Admission 2022, interested candidates are required to have at least a year of experience in the required field and a graduate level degree with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent degree from a recognized university.
After the completion of this course, candidates with a minimum of 50% marks and a minimum attendance of 50% will be offered with a Certificate of Completion from CEP, IIT Delhi. Those with less than 50% marks and 50% attendance will receive a Certificate of Participation.
