New Delhi: IIT Bombay Alumni Association (IITBAA) has announced to conduct the IITBAA FinTech Summit on March 11 and 12, a two-half day virtual programme.
According to the official statement by IIT Bombay, IITBAA FinTech Summit 2022 will witness prominent speakers and panellists. They will share their views and opinions and debate the direction in which the country is headed in the next decade, i.e., as the next Global Fintech Destination.
The statement revealed the theme of the summit as “India: Global Fintech Destination?", that will bring together industry leading speakers and panellists representing the diverse areas of the FinTech industry, Financial Markets, Investments in Fintech, Payment Gateway, and BNPL (Buy Now Pay Later), Insuretch.
Union Ministers to Deliver Keynote Address at IIT Bombay Alumni's Fintech Summit 2022
Nirmala Sitharaman, the Union Finance Minister will deliver the inaugural keynote on March 11 at 3.45 pm. Dinesh Kumar Khara, Chairman and Managing Director, SBI will deliver the keynote address on March 12 at 9.30 am.
Other dignitaries present in the event will include Milind Kulkarni, CEO, FinIQ, Alok Bansal, CFO, Policy Bazaar, Gaurav Hinduja, co-founder and CEO, Capital Float, Hitesh Sachdev, Head- Start-up Engagement, Innovation & Investments, ICICI Investments, Karthik Ganapathy, founder, Bill Desk, Pratik Poddar Partner, Nexus Ventures, and Sandeep Asthana, MD, Sunlife India.
Further, Sridhar Subbaraman, founder and owner, Oasis Insurance Group, Sweta Rau, founder and PM - Early Stage Fintech Fund, White Venture Capital, Yezdi Lashkari, founder and CEO, Flexmoney Technologies and Raghu Subramanian, Chairman and CEO, Actyv.ai among others will also be present at the summit.
The institute's summit will be live-streamed at IITBAA’s official YouTube channel "IIT Bombay Alumni Association".
