IISER TVM Integrated Ph.D Programme Admission 2023-24 Open; Apply till April 19

New Delhi: Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Thiruvananthapuram (IISER TVM) has begun the application process for admission to its Integrated Ph.D programme for the academic session 2023-24. Interested candidates can enrol for Integrated Ph.D Program by submitting the online application form through the official portal of IISER TVM @iisertvm.ac.in.

The Schools of Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics, IISER TVM offers Integrated PhD for the session starting from August 2023, i.e., Varsha 2023. The maximum duration of the Integrated Ph.D. programme is 14 semesters. Candidates intending to enrol for the Integrated Ph.D Admission can apply online till April 21, 2023.

IISER TVM Admission to the PhD programme will be done based on the candidate’s JEST score followed by their performance in Personal Interview.

IISER TVM Integrated Ph.D Admission 2023-24: Eligibility Criteria

In order to enrol for IISER TVM Integrated Ph.D Programme, candidates will have to fulfil the requisite eligibility criteria.

General Eligibility:

Bachelor's degree in the relevant area with a minimum of 55% marks (or a CGPA of 6.0 on a 10-point scale) for General/OBC-NCL candidates and a minimum of 50% marks (or a CGPA of 5.5 on a 10-point scale) for SC/ST and PwD candidates.

IISER TVM Integrated Ph.D Admission 2023-24: Selection Process

The short-listed candidates who have applied for School of Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics will be called for a written test and those short-listed in the written test will appear for interview(s).
Candidates with a valid JEST scorecard in the School of Physics, will be called for the interview.
Candidate's final selection will entirely be based on the performance during the interviews.

Biological Sciences	Candidates shortlisted from any of the two streams will be required to appear for online interviews.
Chemical Sciences	Candidates shortlisted from JAM CY 2023 stream will appear for one interview. Candidates shortlisted from NON-JAM CY 2023 stream, will appear online written test followed by interviews.
Mathematical Sciences	Applicants satisfying the above eligibility criteria will be subject to further shortlisting. The shortlisted candidates will be called for online interview(s).
Physical Sciences	The shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend interview(s) conducted in hybrid mode.

Step 3: Now, you'll be redirected to the login page, where you should use your registration credentials and fill all details in the Application form.

Step 4: Next, pay the requisite application fee and submit the application form.
