New Delhi: IIM Tiruchirappalli has inaugurated the new batches of its PG Program in Management (PGPM), PG Program in Management–Human Resources (PGPM-HR), Doctoral Program in Management (DPM), and Executive Doctoral Program in Management (EDPM).
As per the IIM Tiruchirappalli, the inauguration event was held on 27 June 2022 in the presence of Chief Guest, Shri Krishna Kumar R.A., Executive Director, Dalmia Cements, and Dr. Pawan Kumar Singh, Director of IIM Tiruchirappalli.
Informing about the event, the officials informed that inauguration was held for students of 12th batch of PGPM program, 3rd batch of PGPM-HR program, 10th batch of DPM program, and 3rd batch of EDPM program who have joined the institute for the academic session 2022-23.
During the inauguration, the welcome address was delivered by IIM Tiruchirappalli Dean of Academics, Professor Deepak Kumar Srivastava. He stated that the institute is one of the fastest-growing B-schools in the country and aims to provide a great campus and learning experience to its students.
He further welcomed students of new batches and expressed his delight in addressing the inauguration in offline mode after three years. In addition to this, the chief guest, Shri Krishna Kumar RA addressed the gathering and shared his life experiences with the students.
Shri Krishna Kumar RA highlighted the essential requirements of Speed, ESG (Environment, Social, and Governance), and Ethics in a corporate environment. He also emphasized the need for failure management, teamwork, taking feedback, and people skills among students.
In addition to this, Prof. Sirish Kumar Gouda, Prof. Hari Sreekumar, and Prof. Upam Pushpak Makhecha, Chairperson PGPM-HR announced the Director’s Merit List awards. Students of DPM, PGPM, and PGPM-HR programs were also offered merit certificates by the Chief Guest.
